Role

Chapter 2

As a Member of the Chasm (Part 1)
Added Mon Mar 28 01:26:42 2005 at level 51:

Runaktla has been a member of the Chasm for quite a while,
though little in comparison to his total life, very little.
In general, what he has seen from the Chasm's other members
is a far cry from impressive. Each one carries a fatal flaw
which renders them unsuitable for dealing with what is most
certainly the most murderous and treacherous of extra-planar
beasts - the Ccul'gra and their many deviations.

Judaao, although I'm sure is competent in worldly knowledge
and perhaps a soldier role, displays signs of affection and
brotherhood to the point that, if he were an emissary of the
Chasm in negotiation with these beasts, he wouldn't have the
ability to make the proper... sacrifices... of others...
weaker, for the prophecy's fulfillment.

Sythlindora, the Elementalist... she has shown no great
character or strength, nor ability to withstand our foes...
although her art of invocation is a very powerful one. Her
fatal flaw isn't that, however, its her trust and lack of
leadership in her craft, for she has much potential but it
is evaded frequently. In the several times I've traveled
with that one, she has been the victim of following others
into knowing suicide nearly every time.

Of course, this brings me to Chancellor Akscereh. When I
was first made a part of the Chasm, I quickly realized that
he was not made Chancellor for his prowess in leading a
"Dark" army. I joined him on a couple suicide attempts
under false pretenses before I realized this, and before I
came to the conclusion that I must watch out for my own
skin whilst a member of the Chasm. Naturally, I realized
Akscereh's role was not one of Chasm "Administration" so
much as it was his deep knowledge of the forbidden. For
that reason, and probably because his grotesque appearance
likely make the Ccul'gra at home amongst him, I believe he
is Chancellor. He also seems to... be on the "border" so
to speak, like that man beneath the Village of Azuremain.
