Description

A massive man seemingly stands on the ground as you approach him. Dark green
strands of hair whisp in the breeze and you catch a glimpse of his hardened
face. As your eyes focus on his rocky features that cover this giants face
you notice a horid scar under his mouth. The scar tissue looks to be seared
and rotted. As your eyes drift down his massive frame, you notice another
mass of seared tissue along his left flank partially covered by straps of
leather and plates of armor.

The Empire

Hardly uttering the Oath because of a long-standing incident, Hrenakl joined
the Empire. It's hard to say why he did it. At first glance, the Empire
looked like the Sultan's guards, all the more Hrenakl had no illusions about
the presence there of cunning and deceitful persons. But this is only at
first glance ... An administrative hierarchy and subordination, goals that
Hrenakl did not understand at first but then began to share. And the meaning,
which he did not have until this moment and which he was trying to find,
found its outline.

The only thing that did not please him was the donations. But he managed to
overcome this too. Not all traders liked the straightforwardness of Hrenakl,
but they indiscriminately liked the goods that he brought for sale (and not
everyone had enough money). Having established relations with many traders,
Hrenakl found a stable source of money.

Already matured fire giant stands at market of Hamsah Mu'tazz and try to
find money in his empty pockets for dried chickens that he very likes to
eat. No money, bad mood, just went from the Palace.
"Hey, you, Hrenakl, o whateva ... !" - a rasping voice shouts behind
Hrenakl's back. Giant turns back and sees one of the Sultan's guard, not
one of the best, duergar named Dazkimn.
"You, bastad, made Captan of de Gards to retire me ...!". Disgusting voice
makes tremble an empty stomach.
"Hrenakl tells truth, and noone can force him to tell lie, even you Dazkimn".
Fire giant speaks calmly, although he does not hope this incident will end
peacefully.
"I daznt care about your quirks! You, Hrenakl, destroyed my buizness, I've
almost made an agreement with Galadon's smuggles and you ruined IT !!!!!"
Duergar shouts, his eyes burn by red flame, his hand is reaching a dagger on
black belt. That elusive movement does not hide from giant's eyes and Hrenakl
feels a hilt of his sword. Duergar approaches, spins daggers already in
every hand. Crowd steps aside, make a place for fight. Then, suddenly, duergar
throws two daggers right in Hrenakl's face. First dagger fire giant parries
by his sword, then he dodges second flying dagger but ... Hrenakl is not so
nimble and the knife hits his chin, cutting his lips and tongue. Crowd gasps.
Giant's mouth fills by blood, Hrenakl feels its salted taste, take the dagger
and pulls it out of his chin. Dazkimn has two daggers again, approaches more
closely. Hrenakl does not pay attention to pain, begins to parry duergar's
quick attacks. After some second, Hrenakl makes a feint, and inflict a fatal
wound at duergar's
neck. Dazkimn falls, a heap of silver and copper starts to roll on the ground
abundantly poured by blood. Crowd closes down around duergar's corpse, try to
catch the money. Red shroud covers Hrenakl's eyes, he feels that he falls
too...

Hrenakl opens his eyes. Tall human healer stands near his bed.
"Wha'd 's d's place ?" Fire giant does not recognize his own voice.
"You've better keep the silence, warrior, it's the Temple of Hamsah" healer
says, "We cured your wound but your tongue is damaged and your voice will be
.... different than before". Hrenakl leans back to a cushion, lazy thoughts
about recovery disturbs his mind, then he falls asleep.

Born at far fire mountains, Hrenakl grew strong and honest youth, even his
family was big and not so rich. When sword became an extension of his hand,
Hrenakl leaved the village in seeking of adventures. Long journey lead him to
city called Hamsah Mutazz, where he was hired by Sultan's guards. In this time
he became more skilled and trained but only one thing prevent him in
promotion. It was his honesty. When one of the guard told lies and Hrenakl
knew about it then he can't cover his mate by the same lies. Hrenakl told
truth, only truth, and Captain of the Guards successfully used it by asking
him something. After big complaining others guards he decided to leave a duty
in the Sultan's Palace and find place where his personality will be entirely
relevant.
