Giagrob Gutgorge the Path of Destruction

Description

Grime and filthy muck cover so much of this beastly being's body that it's
hard to tell where the leather and plate armament end and his mottled
flesh begins. What flesh is discernible, appears to be of moist tanned and
leathery skin with tight sinewy muscles strung tightly beneath. Thin joints
and some frighteningly strong looking muscle leaves an uneasy sensation
from just the glance. His frame appears quite tall, even though he walks
somewhat hunched. Lashed about his broad back is a gaping sack of
sorts that has putrescence dripping along with some dangling weapon
handles.

Two yellowed tusks jut from the sides of his haggard maw with the two
larger tusks curving upward while one of each of the smaller tusks curve in
differing directions, down and outward. His cropped ears perk slightly
from the side of his head and are centered just below a beady set of razor
sharp eyes. Above his overarching brow are three ringed piercings. On
top of his head and below his chin are scraggly, knotted, braids wrapped
by twisted leather twine.

Chapter 4

Rising above the Filth.

Size equates to strength, strength equates to power, power equates to being
able to satisfy one's innermost hunger and ego. Giagrob has come to learn this
and incorporate it as his guiding principle and because of his painful trials
as the runt orc and as an underwhelming berserker, it is etched deeply within
his psyche. Most times he's hesitant and gives in to his cowardly orcish
nature when it comes to picking his opponents but there have been some
victories and losses along his tumultuous ascension.

Not so long ago he found that he'd finally begun to rise above some of the
fetid squalor of the Grinning Skull orcs and earned, through pain and hardship,
the opportunity to undergo the rites of adaptation. Though most of it seems a
bit hazy, like waking from a passing dream, he still recalls the ashen smell of
soot that shaman, Tremblefist used as he invoked the ancient ritual. After
explaining to him his desire for strength and power, holding silent the rage
for so many that drives the pursuit of them, he felt a newfound invigoration
rising up from deep inside.

As the smoke penetrated to the pit of his lungs, he felt those lanky limbs that
had served him so well flowed full of twitching power, tendons and ligaments
pulled their sinewy ties tautly stiffening and bulging across his spine and
rippling beneath the mottled array of filthy armor. This sensation made him
loose a howl like he'd never done before and for the first time in his life, he
thought he may have an understanding for what the great Orcs and Gobs feel
like, maybe even Rotwang himself.

Chapter 3

Bacon and Eggs

The night was long and loud that time. It was almost as if the great sow
herself was rampaging through the lands but this wasn't just any night, it was
the night of eggs and bacon. Giagrob has grown over the last few years and has
become more physically developed. Always consuming has led him to a grotesque
but sturdy stature among the younger berserkers. Among his favored foods,
other than elven flesh, is bacon. During this dark hour, he'd just finished a
large handful of week old bacon, bartered from his local orcish butcher, when
those great squeals began to be caught by his ears. Although he wasn't
familiar with the ruckus at first, he was as curious as ever to munch on a new
delicacy.

First like a glob of spit as it hits a hot rock, splattered a group of eggs
that streaked across the heavens before impact. He watched in awe, thinking
all the while, what kind of creature spits out eggs like that, but soon it was
a passing thought as he went trekking off after those glorious morsels of
gourmet goodness. The journey wasn't quick and for a long while, wasn't
fruitful but eventually, whether by luck or divine favor, he came across one of
those tasty bites that had him drooling the whole time. As he reached down to
pluck it from the mire, it vanished, and as he stood there in anger and
disbelief, yelling obscenities, he felt a bit better and more insightful.
Although this wasn't the feast he'd about dehydrated himself from drooling
over, it was something that fulfilled his inner desire for strength and power.

One after one, he found new treasures and was imbued with more morsels of
strength. The first one made of coral, then dragon bone, followed by one of
diamond and lastly of platinum. Each, he thought, was likely the solidified
divine power or leftovers from some great Orc or Goblin in the sky, spat down
for him to discover. Even though these magical eggs left their mark on him,
his initial longing for sustenance yet grows. Inside, he feels he'll try just
about anything or work for anyone, if he thinks it'll eventually let him grow
strong and not be bullied anymore.

Because his early days were so horrendous, he recalls flashes of the torment
and hardships of that time. Other orcs were receiving their feedings from
proud boar and sow orcs when he was drinking from sow hog, consuming the
piglets so he'd survive, and eeking out a measly existence. Oh how he coveted
their leisurely lives. Every time he'd dwell on these things, it would fuel
his inner anger and rage. Due to this lifestyle, he was always the scavenger,
he grabbed and ate all he could to draw in the strength of the fallen because
he did not desire to continue this meager life forever.

The sounds of tearing flesh as his newly forming tusks stretch the muscle
fibers to their limits, are quickly becoming as pleasing as any sensation. To
many, the nauseating ripping and popping associated to the consumption of raw
flesh makes the skin crawl and goosebumps sprout delightfully across one's arms
or spine. Whether it's inherent or a learned fact, he realizes that
consumption yields strength and his wry smile after gorging and indulging his
appetite are ever so delightful.

Receiving beatings and getting knocked down when he can't keep consuming is his
most frightening experience in his recent memory and it reminds him of his
earlier days. To him, it's almost an absolute addiction to keep consuming and
absorbing nutrition and the power of the fallen and to keep in this pursuit,
he's decided to take up the brutish talents of a berserker to vent his disgust
and rage, while filling his gullet.

Rising through the Muck. pt1

A stagnant, putrid gas slowly rises above the muck and mire encompassing the
sickly sweet smell of rotting flesh and earthen decomposition. Slogging
through, one plodding step at a time, is a great sow orc dripping fetid puss
and blood along the way. She takes a momentary rest against the decayed
edifice of some gnarled oaken trunks and gives birth under the deep cover of
the night. The child, covered in all manner of grime and ooze is too sickly to
fulfill her desire for powerful offspring and she discards it as she would a
cake of soap if it were to wind up in her hands.

He lands in the excrement of a few pigs, within their sodding confines, with a
valiant splash. Tears do not stream from his face, in fact, he barely makes a
sound aside from the harsh nasal snorts as if wafting for food. Slowly and
slyly pulling himself along, dangling his mothers cord sloppily though the mire
and toward the milky goodness of momma sow, he instinctively presses onward.
Rooting through the squalor, he forces a way to nourishment the only way he
knows how to suckle the life-giving nutrition of mother pig.

For most races, this sight is almost unbearable to watch but to orcs, it
quickly becomes a betting game. "Which of them will last?" They jeer and swap
tales, pelts and all manor of trade goods betting if he'll last another day.
Slowly but surely, the young orc begins to exert his domination over the
piglets and procures his nourishment by force and strength. His frail body
growing stronger with the passing months, until he's strong enough to survive
on his own. Although still quite scrawny compared to many orcish youth, his
desire for size and strength are silently becoming unmatched.
