Description

A 13 foot creature stands here. It is clad in a peculiar collection of armour
and skins. Where his body is not covered by his protective garment you can
see his dark ebony skin. His orange hair is clean shaved on the sides, the
hair from his top is bound with itself into a large pony tail. His face has
no distinguishing features except fresh shall scars. You notice that his
right fore-arm is quite thicker than his left. His legs while big are nothing
impressive compared to other fire giants.

Background

The only life Torbuk remembers is that of a travelling carnival.
He always attracted denizens of Thera with his strength feats and peculiar
looks. Especially by the fact that his right arm was much larger than the
left.He knew he did it for the coin. Everyone loved coin around him, the
jugglers, the animal tamers, the acrobats, and of course the owner of the
carnival. Torbuk did not have any purpose in life but to gain more coin. He
did not know why they were so precious but he knew he had to have them,
because everyone around him wanted more money.


After a carnival performance outside South Darien settlement a warrior
approached him and inquired regarding his purpose of life. Mike answered that
he is looking for more coin, the stranger warrior asked him what would he do
with all the coin in Thera if he had it. Mike did not know how to answer
that. At that the warrior laughed, and mentioned that if he wants a change he
can come join him in his teachings of the arts of war if Mike chooses to seek
change.

Torbuk decided to take up the warrior regarding his proposal and move to
Galadon to see what there is to learn about Thera. When he approached the
owner of the carnival, the owner just laughed at him and told Torbuk he would
have to pay ten thousand gold for his freedom in order to be able to let go.
Torbuk tried to get the carnies to convince the owners to let him go, again
they all just laughed at him thinking him a stupid fire giant. here were
plety of choices for Torbuk to get the change in his life that he seeked.
Just run and walk away and be always look behind his shoulder for the rest of
his life, or just embrace what he wants to do, and make his own decisions in
life.

Torbuk decided that the way to go out of his old life was with fire. Since he
was not as afraid of the fire as the other Torbuk has hired a wizard with
what coin he has gathered to set fire to the caravan that the carnival was
using. Torbuk was the only one that survived the great fire of the Day of the
Freedom, in the Month of Grand Struggle, off the Balator road. The fire was
so great that the forest nearby caught on fire and killed his favorite donkey
Bork that was tied there. It is then when Torbuk realized that his actions
can harm even those dear to him.

Torbuk headed to Galadon as a free man . While realizing that coin is not the
most important thing in life Torbuk is having a hard time letting old habbits
go.
