Description

Tall, lithe, and built like a goddess, a savage-looking woman stands
here, curly, flaming red hair flowing down to the small of her back. At
first glance her face is fiercely beautiful, with high, sharp
extremity. The eyes themselves are nearly black, like charcoal after a
soft rain. A better look reveals long, ugly burn scars stretching like
ghastly finger up the left side of her neck, through her cheek, around
her eyes and tickling her hairline. Her left hand also bears scars, the
burns curling in spirals down her fingers and accented by crude nearly-
black tattoos on the back of her hand. Her posture is straight-backed
and fluid, almost strict in poise. Her emotions flash across her face
like lightning, constantly changing in an almost insane rate, perhaps
ecstatic at one point, and dangerously angry at another.

Chapter 2

Fire Love Inspiration and the Macabre: Private musings

The fires of Inspiration, Passion, and Love wrapped around this
burning obsession with the macabre. So like the twisted beauty of a
wildfire does my passion for the irregular, the dark, the fiery
and evil link to my past.

Such a common beauty my Ansrtril, and so consumed by a similar
fire to my own. So light and beautiful he makes me feel, but can we
be beautiful together in Eshval's fires?

The Gallery was the strangest and most beautiful collection of
the macabre I've seen yet, yet my heart filled with dread at the
idea of not knowing. For the first time I've become uncertain
of where to turn. The morbid fascination I hold, the girlish
love, the undirected fire that's flailing without direction. I can't
stand it any longer, I'll not hold myself back. This is what I love,
the life I want to live, this is my destiny! In Eshval's creation I
have found my inspiration.
In Ansrtril I have an audience.
In myself I have my passion, my art. I can feel the fires in my veins
rekindled. This is it...

Eshval

Karzalynn is astounded by the arrival of Eshval, the Mus of the Black
Radiance. She has recently become complacent in her life, and upon
reading the texts the Gods have handed Thera on Eshval, she has found
a spirit in the heavens even more interesting and perhaps more kindred
than Arvam. Eshval is now first and foremost in her mind, any other
temporary amusements have been pushed aside.

Update

Heralds: Karzalynn has recently taken on the role of Seamstress
at the Inn of the Eternal Star. She initially wanted to be a Herald
simply because she had the skill and she wanted to put it to good use.
Without sending in an application or getting recommendations, Esfergref
Interviewed her and Inducted her. She knew very little of the Philosophy
behind being a Herald, but after listening to Interviews, she is getting
a better idea of what Heralds stand for. She is more than willing to support
those ideas.
She also has become interested in learning how to dance.

Fate: Cadothu mentioned Fate. This concept amuses Karzalynn to a degree,
and her curiosity for it has been put on the backburner.

Chapter 5

The REAL Personality chapter

Karzalynn is an extremely emotional, temperamental person, whose logic
is barely grounded, and therefore extremely unpredictable. It appears
that her traumatic beginnings have driven her nearly to the brink of
insanity, and that only her own lust for life keeps her from teetering
over the edge.
Life: The purpose of Life is to live. The only way to "win" in life, is
to live life the best you can. The best way of living life, in
Karzalynn's opinion, is to get everything you want.

Interacting with People: Karzalynn can be very respectful, but also
very disrespectful. Most of it depends on what she wants at the time,
whether she wants to see the smile on this person's face, or whether
she wants to crush him. She is more apt, however, to be kind and
nurturing than downright rude. This is by no means a constant.

Good and Evil: Karzalynn has no concept of Good and Evil. She will
treat everyone on her immediate impression of them, regardless of their
alignment.

Chaos: Insanity and Chaos go hand in hand, and though she can seem very
reasonable at times, mood swings, twists of logic (or lackthereof), and
spontaneity are commonplace.
Morality: She does what she wants when she wants, based almost solely
on her emotion and insane will. She does feel the pull of
responsbility and morality, however, and will yield to it as long
as it suits her. If driven to, lifelong commitment is indeed possible.

Fire: Fire is the essence of Karzalynn, it is her only memory of her
origins. She is scarred with its memory, an imbued with the same fury
as hellfire itself. This underlying flame fuels her search for her
past, and her reach for the future.

Passion: Passion is often described as a flame, a relentless all-
consuming drive towards a single ultimate goal. Like the flames of
Shokai, Karzalynn's own passion is always burning for one thing or
another, depending on where her half-crazed logic drives her.

Basics: Personality and Influences

Karzalynn was born and raised a half-elf in the fields south of
Darsylon. She knew no mother, being raised solely by a man who might've
been a brother, older perhaps only by less than a decade. He was known
to her as Jaym. He was already familiar with the way of the lands, and
might have been described by some as being a ranger, of darker skin and
wild eyes. He has been described by Karzalynn as beautiful, and she
loved him dearly. Together they lived as children of the wilds,
sleeping under the stars in grass nearly head height. Jaym always
provided what he could for his companion, only taking for himself what
he needed. And somehow, for many years they lived on the plains, quite
content with each other's company, adult and yet child-like, separate
and yet somehow the same entity. It wasn't until her twentieth summer
that anything came between them. They were traveling through farmland
north and west of Tar Valon, and had set up camp for the night. It was
a dry summer, but the wind was blowing hard, with the promise of a
thunderstorm on the way. It was just becoming apparent to the pair that
the night was the same crystalline beauty it had always been, when
their entire lives were sent into a downward spiral of pain and
surrounding field, grabbing at the friends on the grass. The first
caught Karzalynn in a bear hug, raking his claws all across her bare
stomach and shoulders. All she remembered from there seemed a blur, but
perhaps Jaym put up a fight. When Karzalynn awoke, the field around her
was in flames, and the orc who had seized her was lying dead or
unconscious on the ground. Embers were catching on her clothes and
hair, and stinging on her face. Her brother was nowhere to be seen. In
a daze, she jumped up and half-stumbled, half ran from the field,
eastward to Tar Valon. And from there, Karzalynn knew only one thing
as she looked back on the burning field, black smoke billowing and
blocking the crystalline stars. She had come from the flames.
