Description

Eyes of a cloudy, muted shade of gray lazily gazes out from the rich fur
coloring of the felar before you. Vibrant colors of red, white and dashes of
black adorn his lithe body. He uses simple armor, with each piece being
picked to serve a certain situation, his armor is lightweight and free of
hindrance. Held tightly in his paws is his weapon. Twitching ever so slightly
is a long tail, he looks about his surroundings taking in all that is around
him.

Love and Respect

Tykanen kept to his goals gaining ranks and learning from his brothers and
sisters of the light. Once again he caught the attention of Oshui, he
summoned Tykanen to join him at the maran. Oshui was pleased with the
progress that Tykanen has made since they last talked, so much so he made him
a Squire. One of if not the proudest moment in Tykanen battle ridden life,
Tykanen held back his excitement and nodded and thanked Oshui for the
opportunity to help Thera become a better place for all to live.

With new found energy and drive Tykanen battled on with his last goal. What
seemed like a thousand years and many dull spears and broken claws he did it,
he reached his last goal. His guild master was very impressed in this feat
that Tykanen had taken on and conquered. A hard slap on the back and a shake
of the paw, the guild master smiled and asked Tykanen if he could help train
other young ones. Tykanen nodded and said, when evil no longer walks these
lands Ill come back and aid you with your request.

With the trust and respect of his cabal mates and his other goal finished
Tykanen, will now set his sights on becoming a maran. He has also set another
goal, to earn the respect and love of Lady Baerinika. Oshui has told of many
great stories about her. She is fierce, loyal and well regarded throughout
the land as one of the greatest beacons for the light. Tykanen will give
everything within him to see his goals come to fruition, his last breathe,
the last beat of his heart.

Chapter 1

Trust.

Tykanen was not always the embodiment of light that he is now. For many years
Tykanen walked Thera lost and alone, like someone took away all and
everything he ever loved or known. Feeling crushed and defeated he had an
extremely hard time trusting anyone and with this, he would hunt and learn
alone. Training and honing his skills would set his mind at ease, it would
halt the nightmares of his past and would give him a brief calm. This calm
would end when he came across anything that held the taint of evil.

He had the ability to sense the tainted blood that flowed through the veins
of the vile creatures that inhabit Thera and in his younger years he was
unable to control his blind rage and hate. He would attack and kill any that
had this blood in them, when in this rage he was not himself, it was like
another was controlling him. After every battle he would drive his claws deep
into the torso of his foe, with his claws dripping with blood he would wipe
the blood on his fur, so he would never forget the smell.

As he fought and waged his crusade, Tykanen would come across others, others
like him. They held the same goals as him. They would share stories of great
battles that they had, one of them spoke of the fortress of light. It was a
place for any and all that sought to fight for and defend the light. This
sparked the interest in Tykanen, maybe he can have a place he can call home,
brothers and sisters to fight alongside. He got to meet a few of the fortress
and they spoke very highly of Tykanen.

After some time had passed Tykanen finally got the chance to speak with
Oshui. Oshui understood where Tykanen was coming from and why he wanted to
become a squire, but, he also sensed the anger and rage that still lurked in
Tykanens heart. He told him that he needs to learn to control it, to not let
it control him. Tykanen took his advice and to overcome for what was in his
heart he would set goals for himself. He would reach the pinnacle of his
guild alone and he would take the time to talk with and get to know the
others of the Fortress.

Tykanen met and talked with many of the Fortress, learning the paths they
took and what it meant to be a Squire, Scribe, Maran, Acolyte. He learned
that each one needs the other and that they work as one, A shield a sword and
a voice for the light. Tykanen felt his heart swell with pride and love for
his brother and sisters, he knew what he wanted he wanted to become a Maran.
With his first goal underway he then proceeded to tackle his next, to reach
the pinnacle of his guild alone.
