Zyhaxi the Father of the Earth
DescriptionTwisted lochs of chestnut hair dangle about and sway with each movement of this mediocre man. His hair tapers off just below shoulder length but leads up to a slender, gray, hood, somewhat misshapen by age and tattered to the peek with holes. His eyes peer outward from an olive visage, covered slightly by tan whiskers and high-curled eyebrows. A tiny barrel shaped object seems to jut out from the right side of his face, forming the chamber of a halfling pipe being tucked behind an ear. Upon this small supportive frame are leathers and woolen robes, decorated by runes, with a glimmering glow of silken fibers. The strings of a small pouch drag along the ground, tied into a small, tightly woven rats-nest of a knot which dangles from the rear.
Peering closely you discern some finer detail that....

41773, Zyhaxi's Role Chapter 1

RoleChapter 1 Clouded view of what is True. pt1 Added Fri Apr 20 09:50:05 2012 at level 3:Born to a people where the echos of childish laughter is quickly put to rest by the "Mature" mind set, I was.
The early years were spent as any young person would, in an attempt to enjoy the company and activities of the time.
Small wooden tops were among the favored toys at the time. I had three, each decorated by my own hand.
Originally, they were all gifted to me, parents, grand parents, and from my aunt who lived several hours from town.
My friends and I would play for hours on end, each attempting to gain the "Record" for the longest spin. I seldom lost.
These were the days of being care free, enjoying life in all it's marvel and simplicity as only a child truly can.
We shared no malice nor remorse, our squabbles quickly rendered to resolution. All of us were friends.
After the first twelve or so years of our lives, it is expected that we begin to ply the craft of our parents and forefathers.
The plight that struck this day began as any other, it stands as reminder to never lie to one's self.

RoleChapter 2 Clouded view of what is True. pt2 Added Fri Apr 20 10:29:50 2012 at level 4:My father, Jimlum, was a master blacksmith of the third order of iron workers, a branch once taught by Mortorn dwarves.
The move he made a few years prior to my birth was to Galadon, hoping to spread knowledge of our craft and earn a living.
Now, at my seventeenth birthday, I was to take up the mantle and begin learning to ply our trade and art.
For many years I had carved and inlaid some of the finest detail into our many woodworks, tableware and toys.
These insights into iron smithing should have been as second nature but things do not always fold out as expected.
It wasn't that I didn't wish to have a proud father, parents or relatives who adored and respected my work. No.
The intricacy in which to shape and mold objects was known to me, Yes, but not these metals.
In the beginning, I felt it. A foreign feeling, the instruments needed would not touch my skin, no matter how I tried.
"Hold the Hammer" my father cried out, pain and frustration readily apparent upon his furrowed brow.
I did try, I truly did. With all my strength I wanted to be what they wanted, I wanted it too, or so I thought.
Anger, furocity, rage, no amount of any effort would bay metal to me and a sorrowful acceptance was what followed.

RoleChapter 3 Clouded view of what is True. pt3 Added Fri Apr 20 10:49:45 2012 at level 5:Deep inside I know it pained him, to see his own heir like this, to say what he did, to live on as he does now.
He said "My son." I do recall a shiver throughout his voice. "I relegate you to where you belong. No longer my Son."
These were words that sincerely cut deep but we both had to be honest with ourselves. I did not belong.
It was something that we both knew, however neither of us wished to accept the apparent facts.
The life of a blacksmith wasn't going to be mine. I wasn't made to live within these halls nor their confines.
Honestly, I had thought this for years but perpetuated the lie just as all the others around me had done.
Yet a child in their eyes, I left of my own accord, absent all the ties and obligations of my former family.
A place of my own did not exist inside a city of stone but within the woods that I called friend and home.

RoleChapter 4 Acknowledgement of the True. Added Fri Apr 20 13:03:06 2012 at level 10:In some of my recent adventures, I've learned that diversity is more prominent than I had once expected.
The wilds are abundant, widespread, and so full of life. They are fierce yet forgiving and enjoyable.
Although I still visit the cities of stone and metal, I find the need increasingly less frequent.
Through trial and error, I've made great strides in learning who or what I am and what I can do.
Once harbored thoughts, that I was a misfit, have been replaced by understanding of druidic ancestry.
These new insights are still just hearsay for now, soft words on a traveler's lips about my campfire.
One day I do hope that I'll understand my true origin, where the blood flowing within sprung.
Acknowledging my past and accepting what I now know to be true has further spurred my beliefs in Honesty.
As such, I'll be pressing a path that intercepts the Patron of it, Twist Lordship of Magic and Honesty.
During my travels, my eyes are always open to places or things that may catch his attention.
Yet, for now, living the life of a priest within nature's bosom shall suffice as I learn more of the unknown.

RoleChapter 5 The Ripple. Added Sat Apr 28 09:54:59 2012 at level 26:Looking back in the solemn throws of deep contemplation, I gaze at the strange facts that are my life.
Every calling, every hailing, none of which occurred or were directed at "Wyndaxe" but were to "Zyhaxi".
My entire past was meticulously rewritten by the power of the divine whom live up above.
To know that the past is as fluid as the gentle stream, effortlessly flowing, yet it's course can change.
Understanding only a small glimpse of the power on high is very enlightening and awe inspiring.
I was, however, able to detect the slightest flaw in the magic as Islinic's mind hadn't known my visage.
Some minuscule amount of conversation was needed to enlighten the Lord Adept of the power and outcome.
I had suspected that if this magic was fluid, that the ripple may have not reached him yet, so I explained.
As we once were, now we are again, acquainted and on good enough terms to continue our conversations, happily.
No other mortals seem to have these recollections, I suspect this is due to the great magic of the Lord Adept.
Truly remarkable, I yet stand in awe of these experiences. A son of the smith Jimlum, is me Zyhaxi.

41778, Zyhaxi's Role Chapter 6

RoleChapter 6 The Being Beyond. (Inner thoughts) Added Tue May 1 18:50:08 2012 at level 29:For all of my thoughts and actions to coalesce into cognitive understanding was quite the task. I believe that the being, beyond normal understanding, is not one to be trifled with nor underestimated. Lord Twist, as he is often called, is a title for a being of unimaginable power and ability.
Divinity, which is roughly the qualities that make a being divine is not without humor in it's explanation. Twist is. He may not have always been, but with such unimaginable abilities that were earned by him, the word divinity is fitting. This derivation isn't from his becoming the "Violet Spider" or because he is worshiped and revered by so many but because he exudes the qualities of the divine and thusly "Is".
To discern the traits most sought after by Twist isn't a difficult task. Magic and Honesty, are they. Both are of extreme importance in this plane in which we live, our mortal lives. I believe that both should be held in high esteem and that each benefits the other with equal measure.
I, having earned a trifle amount of the Divine Magic's power, shall use it to spread the trait known as Honesty. In doing this, I wish to make others lives more enjoyable and less likely to bring harm to any and all around. Understanding that Magic resides in all things, yet knowing this task is monumental, I shall do anything within my abilities to see it through. As Lord Twist wishes this world to remain, so do I.
