Description

You judge the female to be about 6 feet tall. She is slender with a small
bosom and narrow hips. Her skin is a smooth save for a few calluses on her
hands and completely dark in stark contrast to her white hair. It is
difficult to assess her age. She has a heart shaped face with a petite nose.
Her eyebrows are high and thin. Together with her half-closed eyelids partly
covering green orbs, they give the impression of detached amusement. She
carries herself proudly, back straight, chin raised. You notice a simple
leather band around her neck with the tip of an arrow hanging from it.

Chapter 5

Claw of the wolf

Foratha have met, or at least felt the presence of an ancient. An encounter
not without dangers, almost mistaking her for a snack the brief meeting
turned into something good, she was accepted by the Ancient with the promise
that she would become a claw of Thar-Eris. Foratha still feels that she is
only a splinter in the foot of civilization rather than a claw striking for
the heart, it annoys her but she presses herself to try harder, to truly
strike a lasting blow and become more than a splinter or thorn, she has found
her true passion, even though she still tells herself that it is her mother
that she is trying to avenge it truly is the Spire that gets her blood
pumping, the quest to avenge her mother will slowly grow into the avenge The
mother, that is Thar-Eris, replacing her mothers role in her history and
future with Thar-Eris.

Chapter 4

Hunter becomes prey

A shadowy figure was standing over an unconscious body, the almond shaped
eyes fixed on the body as quiet incantations could be heard, every now and
then the body twitched and the beautiful female face contort in pain. It was
an odd scene, the female drow lay in the dust next to a large table, filled
with mortars, flasks and braziers that were all covered in dust. Every single
thing in the laboratory was covered with a thick layer of dust, and yet there
werent a single footstep on the floor. Suddenly a large iceball materialized
itself in the air, crashing down on the sleeping female, bruising her badly,
and with the blink of an eye she was gone.

Complete darkness, her sight, it was gone, though she remembered the way, her
fingers just gently touching the walls as she quickly ran through the
corridor. Wood, a door, she fumbled briefly with the handle before she got
out, she stopped briefly and shivered as the disease and poison in her veins
took hold of her. She gritted her teeth and pressed onward, she knew there
had to be a staircase somewhere near. As she felt the first step she also
noticed that she could clearly make out a certain potion, a vicious oil, she
had tasted it before, it would poison her badly, but it would also cure her
blindness, grimacing at the smell as she uncorked the bottle she quaff the
potion, she blinked a few times as she ran up the stairs, her eyes adjusting
to the darkness. She could sense the other drow nearby, hear the light
footsteps rushing through the corridor. She quickly ran out from the main
gate of the keep and could feel the wind pick up under her feet, as she
reached the bridge something tingled in her mind, and she quickly threw
herself into a bush, concealing herself, knowing that any moment she would be
unable to control her shivering from the sickness and poison, and there he
was, the drow, she could see an iceball materializing in the air just above
of where she stood a moment ago, it crashed down into the soil, and the drow
continued onward. The whole bush shivered with her as she was unable to
control herself. She quickly picked up the pace again, and ran out over the
water, the wind under her feet keeping her dry as she just barely touched the
surface, the sickness and poison were beginning to take its toll, and she
knew she had to find a priest soon or the drow would catch up with her.
Moving quickly through the plains and forests outside the Voralia City then
wind beneath her feet took her towards the old ruins of Ostigliath, when she
finally reached the ruins she was exhausted, ready to collapse, when she
remembered the tale of her mother, how she had pressed on to escape the long
hand of Teth Azeleth despite all her hardships. She could feel the fire
within her burn and she pressed herself for the last stretch, she would live
to see the mother avenged.

Chapter 3

Foratha's life

Foratha grew up without any motherfigure and a wood-elf as a dad. Even though
he was more of a trainer than a real dad. The only thing Foratha knew about
her mother was her incredible escape from what Oliclinamel had figured out to
be Tzeth Azeleth, and how what he believed to be the ancients of Thar-Eris
had saved her so that she may give birth to Foratha.

Foratha was a curious child, eager to learn everything and always kept her
self busy learning or doing things that interested her until she fell asleep
of pure exhaustion. She was fascinated by the nature around her, how it
contained everything, birth, life and death. However as she grew older she
began to find her existence dull and her teacher quite boring, just stuck in
the same routines every single day, hunting, cooking, eating, sleeping. She
wishes to experience the world to its fullest to be able to wage a personal
war against the city of Tzeth Azeleth.

Oliclinamel noticed this, though he was reluctant to send her away as he had
grown fond of her, he finally surrendered to her wishes and sent her off to
experience the great cities of man.

Arriving to the city of Galadon Foratha was appalled by the filth and
terrified by the claustrophobic feeling the city walls gave her. However she
was bound to at least see the city and learn something from it and as she had
traveled she had heard tales of the famous guilds where one could learn just
about anything.

For days she wandered the streets, during the day, catching a glimpse of just
about every guildmaster there were and their students and after careful
consideration she decided that she would join the warriors guild of Galadon,
at least until she were proficient enough to exact her revenge. Her mothers
dying words echoed through her head as she was asked which weapons she
preferred. She was Foratha Sigil, the hunters dagger.

Daggers, she said and took a step towards the training grounds

Foratha is a very curious person. She inherently evil and her upbringing have
rendered her to become quite chaotic at heart. She has no need for order and
she despises those who feel the need for it, she thinks of them as slaves
locked down by their own rules and laws.
She does not lust for murdering people, however she is fascinated with war,
and the art within it.

Any contact with the outlanders will draw her towards them. The fire burning
within her to destroy Tzeth Azeleth will most likely expand if this happens
and the fire will extend itself to the destruction of civilization.

Naturally she hates other drows, and she will not hesitate to kill first and
ask questions later if she comes across any.

Chapter 2

The hunt part 2

The fifth Ilkanya was exhausted, struck with fever she was unable or even
detect the two scouts closing in on her, both wary of their surroundings as
they had found the corpses of their friends. Both suddenly froze in their
movements as two bear cubs suddenly rumbled out through some bushes, glancing
wearily around themselves it did not take long until the mother bear showed
up, charging straight at them with terrifying speed. A long drawn battle
ensued between the bear and the two drows with only the bear mother being
successful in her goals, protecting her two, now motherless, cubs.
When Ilkanya awoke she thought she had died and gone to hell as she saw the
carnage surrounding her. Two half eaten bodies lay in a heap and two cubs
were poking at their lifeless mother. To weak to be able to kill the cubs she
just chased them away and skinned the bear. Now well dressed for travelling
and fed she continues onward, still exhausted by the fever...

Staring at the arrow for a split second before throwing herself to the ground
behind the tree Ilkanya contemplates the situation. This far she has been
incredibly lucky, six of her pursuers are dead and now the seventh has found
her. Exhausted from the escape and the sickness and somewhat delusional from
the still rampaging fever she sends a prayer to whatever deity that might
listen before she falls out of consciousness.

Ilkanya never knew what happened to the seventh scout, and she did not waste
much time thinking about it when she faded back and forth between
consciousness and unconsciousness, instead she dreamed, she dreamed of her
escape, how nature itself has stood by her, crushed her enemies and saved her
and what she suspected her unborn child. Two words kept coming back to her in
the dreams... Thar-Eris.

A wood-elf hunter had found her under the tree with a typical drowish arrow
stuck next to her. He had only found the spot of where the shooter had been
standing but there all tracks ended. He had brought her to a small hunter
cabin nearby in the trees, curious of her story he took care of her. He got a
good grasp of what had happened to her just by listening to her mumbling in
her sleep. For weeks he took care of her and as time went on it became
obvious that she were pregnant. However she did not regain consciousness
again until the night her daughter were born, as she went into labor she
suddenly woke up. During each contraction she screamed, and it was two words,
Thar-Eris. Over and over again until the child was finally born, she closed
her eyes and with her last breath she whispered, Foratha Sigil a Thar-Eris.
Which in the ancient priestly language of Tzeth Azeleth means hunters dagger
of Thar-Eris.

Chapter 1

The hunt part 1

*THUD* The arrow shivered slightly as it hit the tree inches from her head.
Panting heavily she hid behind the tree, catching her breath briefly before
sprinting towards the next tree...

It all had begun a few weeks earlier in Tzeth Azeleth, when her sharp tongue
had insulted the high priestess in her presence. Stripped of her powers she
had been given to the citys scouts. After a few days of torture and being
raped multiple times the scouts captain decided that his men needed some
training. Thus she was sent up to the surface, naked, without food or water,
to be hunted. She had been given a full days head start before they went
after her, all seven of them.

The second day the first of them caught up with her, cornering her in a
narrow ravine without any escape she had fallen to her knees, waiting for the
inevitable when suddenly the scout in front of her was replaced by a huge
block of stone, his curved dagger the only evidence of his being.
Feeling abandoned by her god she kissed the stone and mumbled a quiet thanks
as she picked up the knife and continued onward.

The third day the second hunter found her, wading up to her waist in a swamp.
Luckily the scouts bow were broken and he were forced to follow her out into
the mud, slowly closing in on her with a wide grin on his face she decided to
make a final stand as she found a somewhat more solid piece of land. Standing
at the small bank with black mud smeared all over her naked body and leeches
hanging from her legs, she watched the scout come closer, until he suddenly
stopped, swearing as he seemed to be stuck. She hesitated for a moment before
deciding that she must take this opportunity to get rid of one her hunters.
She waited for the scout to go below the surface as he tried to cut himself
loose, when he did, she dove into the murky waters and slowly closed in on
her prey.
As she cut of the scouts throat she placed her lips over the wound, sucking
up every single drop of blood before salvaging what she could from his
corpse. Now wearing a belt and a tunic she continued onward, somewhat
strengthened from the blood.

The fourth day she heard a terrifying scream as she was climbing up a cliff
wall, and she could hear the sound of the third scout hitting the ground. As
she glanced down she could see her fourth adversary quickly climbing up after
her, not even giving his fallen comrade as much as a look.
As she was inches away from the top a strong hand grabbed her wrist, at the
same moment a huge shadow clouded the sun and with a powerful jerk the grip
was released from her wrist, a second scream echoes through the cliffs that
day as he fourth scout was carried away by a gigantic bird-like creature.
