Description

Standing before you is a felar that pushes the average height of his race by
feet 3 inches. Fur covers every inch of his body and appears to be lush and
thick with his fur being a dark smokey charcoal color. His eyes appear to be
mismatched in color, the left being a bright green in color while the other
is bright yellow. Muscle packs his tiny frame yet doesn't seem to hinder his
movements in any way. Light glints dully off the tips of his deadly claws and
if you look at him in just the right light you can see the brilliant white of
his fangs against the darkness of his fur. A tail stretches out behind him a
couple feet allowing him better balance than most other beings. As he moves
you notice that every move is precise and done with minimal effort as if he's
conserving his energy for a time when he really needs it.

The Siege

This day a battle was waged...it has yet to see it's end but Kalcova was part of the
forces that threw back the Darkness that beat upon the walls of the Fortress. Defying
the Drow Battle Archmagus straight to his face and attacking any drow that was within
his sight and that he could find. The battle is not yet over just a small reprieve
because the drow battle archmagus promised that the Fortress would be attacked every
day after this day. He would throw whatever he could or had to, to break their wills
and the walls of the Fortress. Kalcova is weary and not much lifeforce left within him
to defend the Fortress, but as he promised he will defend the Fortress and the dwarves
up unto his last breath...

The Prophecy

After hearing rumors of a prophecy the Holy Warlord of the Marans made it the task
of all to gather information and knowledge on this prophecy. Kalcova spoke with
a transumter known as Harich. Harich told him little of what he already did not know
other than that the Ivory and Ebony Warders were to protect the last of the Frosthammer
dwarven bloodline. He must be guided and protected from everyone, Frosthammer does
not yet call the Village home and may never call it home. But events have transpired
within the city of Voralia involving the orc shaman witch doctor known as Tremblefist.
More information of the prophecy has been revealed, the orc has obtained the corpse of
an ivory elfen maiden. Now he requires the horns of the Beast and the beard of the last
Frosthammer. Kalcova has sworn to give up life, limb and soul in protection of the Light
and Thera.

Entrance into the Brigade

After completing the task that Zacchaeus set before him, Kalcova was called upon to
battle the Vanquisher to aid the Fortress in getting the Orb back. Once that happened
it wasn't long after that, the Holy Warlord of the Brigade appeared before him to ask
him a few questions and to test his mettle. Finding everything to his satisfication the
Warlord inducted Kalcova on the spot into the Marans. He is now a Squire and is on his
way to do what he set out to do when he left his pack. To protect and serve those who
can't defend themselves against the Dark.

His path and the Pledge

Having walked upon Thera for a little while Kalcova found the path of the assassin
a most interesting one. Especially considering his background of combat and fighting.
So having chose the path of the assassin he has somewhat made a name for himself a
small one so far but one he bears proudly. After hearing of the Fortress of Light he
went to the Gates of the Fortress and made a pledge to the Maran Tara'bal that stood
at the Gates. He has vowed to aid in any way he can and to do such when called upon.

The Beginning

Coming from a pack of felar that pride themselves on combat Kalcova was reared
to revel in combat and to test himself against others when he thought himself
unbeatable. His parents being of pureheart taught Kalcova to be such as well
and being that they reveled in Combat they also thought highly of Lady Baerinika
so they tought him to be a worshipper of the Jaguar as well. Knowing this he set
out in Thera hoping to find others pure of heart such as he and to fight against
those of the dark such as he was taught by not only his pack but by his parents
as well.
