Kelarix the Legend of the Battlefield

Description

An example of war and hardships appear abundant upon the
frame of this moderately slender warrior. From muscled
shoulders accented by a stout tauntly-serrated chest,
the fierce look of determination in his musculature say
that his body has become well acquainted with battle.
His head bobs slightly and long, slender, clawed paws
move within guided motions, the appearance of readiness
simply screams. The expression upon his face changes
often from one of somber, callused, grimace to casual
and menacing demeanor. Most of his armament is covered
with drab cloaks and robes which only for brief moments
reveal well-groomed tufts of silver and brown fur.

Chapter 8

A Forward Progression.

- Several years had passed since he left that hovel,
escaped certain death, and went out on his own. A time
of war and retribution began at that time, and has
continued fiercely throughout the years. The
accomplishments within his life and war are beginning to
rack themselves upon a countenance within his mind. In
the war of Mages, he had grown. Many of them now feared
his clawed paws or poled weapons. A once tortured and
broken body has responded to proper nourishment,
training and treatment, now looking moderately normal.
Some religious philosophies he has adapted to fit his
cause, lead and guide him upon his path. Looking
forward to the future, he leaves the past as just a
memory, he is a new man.

- Mighty interest within the forge sprang up from
watching another pupil within the village Greshan,
dwarven by nature, reforge and strengthen some weapons.
A great consideration was then taken into account when
deciding to live life like the Forge God, as he didn't
know how many felar had come along before or if it
mattered. What he does believe is that, if he can make
the improvements he has through the trials of war, then
he can use it to influence others. Just like the
weapons he saw taken to the forge by Greshan, he will
subject himself and others to the same treatment. To
subject himself and those around him to the same ideals
as taught to him by his dwarven brother, that is what he
believes it is like to be Noldar.

Chapter 5

The Taste of Vengeance.

- Trudging for days and days, he marched. Through
mountain, valley, river and overpass he kept ever
vigilant for the opportunity.
- An instant surprise awaited him as horns of a raging
bull plowed into his chest. The charge stung greatly
and stunned him.
- Soon the momentary lapse in judgement was over, the
initial strike of battle lost, he recovered, quickly
regaining composure.
- A blinding multitude of thoughts rushed violently
though his cortex, energizing, and invigorating feral
spirits deep within.
- The battle was short and fierce. His years of
training sprung to life and within moments the heated
battle had passed in victory.
- This one, was his, it did not get away, or hide like
so many others before. The chance didn't exist this
time because he didn't allow it.
- After cleaning some of the bits from his claws,
consuming some, and licking his lips, he made the long
trek to see the village Noldar.
- The first kill of a mage was over but the sensation
remained and as he thought, it had grown. More he
thought, his body yearned, more.

Chapter 4

Behind the Eyes.

- Kelarix is a little moody, and forward. His speech is
like any other mortal, at times he uses slang, and
others it is more proper or even comedic.
- The reverence he has for the flame is his guide for
his life, serving both as mentor and enemy. He sees it
within himself but also an aversely.
- Just as any other being whom has been scorned,
tortured, or put down he would like the opportunity to
strike back. He will used this to his advantage.
- The desire to murder magi stemmed from his torture,
his time spent as a mage's familiar, and the loss of the
only family he had, his brothers.
- Finding and murdering mages is proving to be tougher
than he expected. They are quick, intelligent, and
crafty using magical means of hiding or escape.
- Within his mind, the strongest opponent that could
face his prey were warriors. He studies in their guild,
all weapons but favors staves and spears.
- Inside of the three years after his release from
perpetual rigidness he trains exceptionally hard, day in
and out, to join the clan who hate magi.
- One day he hopes his training, and after enough
slaughter, that he will again feel pure. It was ages
ago that he ever felt any kind of normalcy.
- To guide him in this, he hopes to seek the Smiths of
the Noldar. He thinks none would know more about
purification than masters of the malleable.

The Sentient Beast Awakens.

- The lights of cities were overwhelming after slumbering so long.
- Refuge was to be taken amongst others of a feral and like kind.
- Pity, remorse, and other more humane sensations had been lost.
- Survival was priority but with retribution to tormentors second.
- Realization of all that was known had long faded to dust, ash.
- An inner desire remained after starvation began swiftly fading.
- They had taken his purity and caged the wild animal deep within.
- Still it had remained inside soft slumber, awaiting the waking.
- The magical flames of his oppressors had once scarred his flesh.
- Molten fires of the explosive isle had singed it much further.
- This was to be his rebirth, to start anew, akin to none, alone.
- Somber sensations of sentient rebirth were awakening swiftly.
- A path devoid of the taint was chosen, to strike against them.
- Warriors path, often alone, often bloody, viscously inspired.
- This was he, he was this, objective and existence melded as one.

To Last for Eternity.

- Unable to last for eternity, it ended as swiftly as it started.
- Billowing smoke arose from all around, flames licking violently.
- His magical slumber had ended, remaining all around were ruins.
- Ruins of a time, long over, not even bones remained of his kin.
- Detesting all movement, a frail body bayed no further movement.
- The fire, did say otherwise and onward he scrambled feverishly.
- Latching on to a piece of drift wood, he scrambled to the waves.
- Their cooling embrace balancing the sting of salting his flesh.
- Days, he floated, scavenging bloated corpses seared by the ash.
- Resigned to die after a miracle waking, he lost consciousness.
- But snagged by a fisherman, and hefted to a dock, was his fate.
- A great reverence for the flame was received as his new savior.
- The charr left from the massive blasting Isle, kept his water.
- Surviving, recovering, and moving onward he was to disappear.
- Staunch prejudice reaffirmed as vengeance could never be gained.

In the Beginning.

- In the beginning there were three. Three feral feline siblings.
- Living off the ample wildlife they hunted, killed, and feasted.
- On a day like any other, the incidence of separation occurred.
- Barreling though the woods, chasing a supple fawn, they ran.
- Surprise befell them as their muscles drew taunt, stone still.
- A shrill cackle, some dark-rune robes, and flashes till halting.
- This gloomy and ramshackle hovel opened into a fiendish dungeon.
- Dungeon or laboratory, were one and the same for all familiars.
- They lived, survived, slowly shriveled to husks like never before.
- Long gone were the days of the feasts, replaced by tormenting.
- Pained witnessing the viscous deaths of his kin, he withdrew.
- Among the favored torment, experiments, were of magical flames.
- So excruciating they were by filling his heart with detestation.
- He longed for the day of ending, now alone, and then it arrived.
- A mighty flash, and what remained was a stillness, so peaceful.
