Cawr Bashan the Dark Scourge of Imperial Enmity, Anathema to the Empire
DescriptionThe gigantic figure before you moves with a erect military style, his jet-black hair is short cut and well kept. A pair of thick but well kept eyebrows are narrowed over his only red eye, the other is covered with a white eye-patch. A well kept moustache curls itself right beneath a flat broad nose that sits above a wide mouth, shadow of his morning shave can be seen on his chin. You can barely see the pale orange color of the giants skin can barely be seen through the thick armor he wears, but where it shows, muscles of gigantic proportions bulges. The whole demeanor of this giant tells the story of a well kept soldier his appearance radiates with confidence. As you look further you see...

RoleChapter 12 Desperation Added Wed Jan 26 18:43:24 2011 at level 51:The eyes widdened on the frightened necromancer as the giants face came closer, insanity and desperation was the last thing the necromancer saw in the giants face before it all went black.
Cawr looked down at the heap of robes before him, the pool of blood expanded from the robes and wet his armored boots. Another that didnt know the correct answers. How many more would he have to go through? Someone must know, someone must have pondered on the secrets of Kteng. Without looking a second time on the pool of blood Cawr walked away, his eye burning with determination and desperation, he knew that death was calling for him, he could hear the banshees...
Cawr is now desperate to find a way to strengthen his body and prolong his life. He will not give in and beg the lords of Thera for aid, but he will go over piles of bodies if he must to obtain what he wants, he must live long enough to get his revenge.

RoleChapter 11 Untamed hatred Added Fri Jan 14 05:05:12 2011 at level 51:A gigantic figure can be seen behind a pillar on a huge balcony surrounding a gigantic dome. The figure is looking at a fragile being in dark robes standing beneath him at an altar. The giant grips the iron bar on the curtain of the balcony harder and a low squealing sound can be heard from it as it twists it self before it crumbles under the tremendous force of the giants fist. The robed figure seems unaware of the giants burning gaze as pure hatred flows from its being towards the figure.
So much revenged filling up one body, a gigantic body however, but still. Cawr is a ticking bomb, filled with hatred against just about everyone. However his focus is against the priests, those weak creatures picking the crumbles from the gods tables. However, there is one person in Thera that Cawr wants dead more than anyone else, and that is Mharlndarn, the Chancellor of the Eternal night. He will do anything to find the right situation to trap him, but until then, he will act as the lowest servant, a bloodoath if youd like.
The constant betrayals have made his mind less and less stable, and he moves on the brink of insanity. However, he will not rest until Mharlndarn is dead, and as many priestly souls are stored within his weapon of power, perhaps if he brings enough souls with himself to hell, then he may meet his wife and unborn child again.

RoleChapter 10 A champion of man Added Thu Dec 30 18:49:17 2010 at level 51:His god has failed him, his priests have failed him, and the latest set back... A priest took his first glimpse of power since the loss of the weapon. Cawr has begun to distrust the town healers, finding himself reluctant to use them. After all, he is a dark night, a powerful one, and most likely the most skilled one currently walked the lands of Thera.
Cawr will make less and less use of the healers found in the cities, as well as searching for ways to kill those blessed with the divine connection he was refused. His aim is to be known as a champion to man, a long and lonely route to go, but nonetheless, the route that faith has pushed him towards throughout life. He believes that first Jharazoul failed him in becoming absent, and with him, his chance of getting into the good grace of lord Enlilth. After that, Liosthen relieved him of his weapon on his road back to power.

RoleChapter 9 A family meeting Added Wed Dec 22 07:13:15 2010 at level 51:Muhb Bashan slowly made her way from the kitchen with the boar steak on a huge serving platter that still looked small in her hands. Her first born was home from a long campaign with the Imperial Army.
Kurw Bashan leaned back in the comfortable armchair as his father served him another glass of whiskey. It was good to be home, especially when his younger and more successful brother wasnt. It always reminded him of his own inability to advance further within the blade sect.
Dinner is served, Muhbs voice could be heard from the dining hall, father and son stood up and walked through the hallway towards the dining hall. Suddenly an explosion was heard and wooden splinters came flying through the hallway. In the doorway a heavily armoured giant could be seen, Cawr Bashan was home again, and the lust for blood burned in his only eye as he walked down the hallway...

RoleChapter 8 Betraying for a betrayer. Added Wed Dec 22 07:12:41 2010 at level 51:A gigantic ghostly figure, covered with bloody wounds stand above a deep chasm. A gigantic creature of darkness blocks the giants way as he leans out over the chasm, calling.
CHANCELLOR! Speak with me!
A calm voice can be heard from deep within the darkness of the chasm. Speak.
The giant peers around himself, as if trying to penetrate the darkness around himself, then he seems to hesitate for a moment before kneeling before chasm.
What will it take for my powers to be restored Chancellor, you name it, and I do it.
A soft chuckling sound can be heard from within the chasm, before the calm voice speaks again. Leave the Empire, become my toy, and you will have your powers again. That is the price.
The giant stands up and bows deeply before the chasm, a moment of hesitation follows before the giant replies. It will be done.
Splinters of ice ricochets of the magnificent throne as a gigantic ice ball deals a devastating blow to the four fighters before you, they do not flinch however as they focus their wrath on the giant before them. The giant swings his sword in frenzy, striking all around him with terrible might as he utters one powerful word after the other. The resolve of the four fighters is eroding as the battle wages on, one after the one they fall, until only the prelate remains, for a moment it seems as if the giant will retreat, but with a powerful blow he cleaves the prelates skull in two.
Panting heavily, Cawr kneels besides the corpse of the Prelate and bends the codex from the prelates dead hands.
THE GLORY DAYS OF THE EMPIRE IS OVER! BASHAN SHALL RISE IN POWER ONCE AGAIN!

RoleChapter 7 Frustration Added Mon Dec 20 07:42:06 2010 at level 51:Cawr is growing weary, the life in Empire has become idle. Almost constantly battling alone, alongside the council or the centurions Cawr finds the imperial strength veining, and without a council that is awake when he is, he is frustrated with the inability to change things. His inability to be granted an audience with lord Enlilth are however the greatest cause of his frustration, more than two hundred years and nothing more than a. I will have a word with you. Cawr is about to lose faith in the god and Empire he was brought up to believe in, as they are failing him.
He will do what he can to obtain the throne, the high priest Jharazoul has not shown his face for a long time and Cawr suspects that he will not awaken again, and the revolt and promise of a place on the council will be lost.
As things are, Cawr is open for persuasion, not as much in leaving the Empire as is finding another deity that can aid him in finding his wife, somehow, the name Bashan must live on forever.

34172, Cawr's Role Chapter 6
Posted by Death_Angel on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
RoleChapter 6 Goals met and goals failed Added Sun Nov 21 17:10:13 2010 at level 51:Rubbing his hands together in greedy anticipation Cawr kept his face from revealing the pleasure he felt when he was informed that the magician and shifter had fallen in the third circle, this would mean that theyd send Targrala to bring them back in, and that would in return mean that Targrala would let Cawr kill him.
The powerful giant removed his armor, a precaution to make the death quicker. He nodded towards the other giant in front of him and watched the giant axe move towards his head with a terrifying scream and it all went black
The conquering of hell was a failure, at least the way Cawr saw it. Even though he gained a lot of power from the journey they had not reached further down than the fifth circle. However he was looking foward to have Targrala uphold his part of the bargain, the mighty blade has traded his soul to Cawr in trade for the Mask of Anazu...
Cawr has finally become an Elite within his sect, at the same time he also reached the pinnacle of his guild. He wears his new rank and title with pride, however his greedy nature cant do anything but envy the power that Pandol has as Dread Lord, he knows that only a word would force him to give up his weapon and hand it over to the dread lord. He must find a way to take his place, sooner than later, perhaps he cannot wait for the High Priest to become Emperor, perhaps something else must be done...
The recent journey to the inferno reminded Cawr of his late wife and child, perhaps if he ventured deep enough hed find them, or at least her, so that he could bring her back and breed an appropriate hair to the Bashan family. There must be some powerful being down there to bargain with, since he has failed in obtaining lord Enlilths attention, not that Cawr has given up on the great lord, it would take a lot more for Cawr to give up his devotion.

34171, Cawr's Role Chapter 5
Posted by Death_Angel on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
RoleChapter 5 Political webs Added Mon Oct 25 06:11:57 2010 at level 40:60 years have passed since Cawr last met his family. And not much have happened. He has not been able to advance his position within the ranks of the Sect, even though he has been doing his job and made the right contacts. He is however a well known and well respected member of the black sect, and had it not been for him perceiving the dread lord as incompetent he wouldve been happy. But he finds himself less and less content with his position and the incompetence of the dread lord. He also struggles with keeping a good relationship with the blade sect, the patch keeps reminding him of his youth and he cant seem to let it go, not when members of the blade sect on more than one occasion managed to let his prey escape, of course it couldnt be Cawrs own fault, add the failure of the bloodreckoning a few years ago and one can easily see that Cawr is slowly building up a hatred towards the blade sect. As things are, there is only one blade he doesnt despise, Targrala, but he doesnt like him either, its just a matter of respect.
Lately nightmares have been troubling Cawr as well, dreams of him being trapped and hunted, bound and webbed, the dreams wary but the spirit of them seems to be the same. Cawr believes that its a sign that he worries that hell get trapped in the political webs of the Empire, and that it might make him stray from his righteous path to promote Darkness and Order.
The many years of close contact with the high priest has made Cawr more and more religious, and he feels that he must seek out his lord and pay him his respect. He had been planning on waiting with this until he had accomplished something more... Dread lord perhaps? But the dreams as of late forces him to take action.
All in all, Cawr is determined that he must obtain the title of Dread Lord for the sake of the Empire, and he must do what he can to aid the high priest to become the next Emperor.

34170, Cawr's Role Chapter 4

RoleChapter 4 Slaughtering the bull Added Mon Oct 4 05:23:07 2010 at level 20:It had not been to long ago since Cawr finally said those famous words, My heart, My soul, My life for the Empire. And now he was finally a citizen! Of course, nothing to dwell to long at of course, he was aiming for higher grounds. But for now, this was a first goal obtained. He lifted his arm and knocked on the familiar door.
Olgh opened the little peeking hole in the door and saw a heavily armored giant with the imperial codex on his tunic. Quickly he dusted himself off and yelled into the house that they had an imperial visitor before he opened the door and bowed deeply in the same motion. As he bowed he glanced at the face peering out from under the draconic looking skull and recognized the white eye-patch.
You dont recognize your own son, father? The giant said while stepping inside, past his own still bowing father. Youre wise to bow for the black when they arrive father, but we both know that theres no need for you to bow to your own son, yet.
Muhb came down the stairs in her finest dress, but froze on the last step when she saw her youngest son standing in the hallway, tall, handsome, heavily armored and wearing the imperial seal with confidence, she could feel the pride swell within her. Now two of her sons were full citizens of the Empire, and it had been so fast for Cawr, barely 10 years even.
The evening went well, they had dinner and Olgh took his chance to ask Cawr about the current status of the politics, with no Emperor on the throne and currently only two council members the inhabitants of the Empire was worried. Cawr calmed them both down and explained that things would be sorted soon enough, there were simply to many suiting officers to chose from, and that he was hoping that it would draw out even longer so that hed have a chance to rise through the ranks, and perhaps be considered for the post as Dread lord. He did however ask his father to keep quiet about this, and not to tell even his brother.
When Cawr left his child-hood home he was filled with confidence, he was a citizen, and the future was looking bright.
Cawr follows the imperial hierarchy and laws by the letter, he strongly believes that the Empire is the best that can happen to Thera, it is vital that strict order is remained within the ranks, corruption cannot be tolerated and weakness has no place within the Empire.

RoleChapter 3 Joining the guild Added Sat Sep 11 17:21:25 2010 at level 5:Olgh looked up from the documents and glanced at his youngest son. A fine specimen of his race, a fine imperial. He sure had succeeded with this one, beating some sense into him sure worked out well. He handed over the documents to Cawr who bowed his head as he received them.
With these documents my son, you will be accepted to any anti-paladin guild in Thera, make the most of it, make me proud and return to me when youre a citizen, outdo your brothers!
For the first time in his life Cawr saw softness in his fathers eyes, disgusted Cawr forced himself not to react on it and received his first hug from his father. He bowed before his father and walked out the door, making his way towards the great city of Hamsah MuTazz.

RoleChapter 1 Graduation Added Sat Sep 11 17:16:02 2010 at level 5:Olgh Bashan and his wife Muhb stood among the crowd, beaming with pride as the name Cawr Bashan was called out and the tall giant stepped forward to the podium on the stage, the warlock next to the podium barely reached Cawr to his hips and Cawr had to reach down to receive the diploma and shake hands with him before he turned to the podium that seemed much more proportional for Cawr than the rest of the stage.
As the supreme student in my class, it is an honor to stand here before all of you citizens. A new era is rising as this class graduates, only a few of us will prove ourselves worthy enough to join the great guilds around Thera, and even fewer of us will be granted citizenship during the years to come. But the ones that do, will become the backbone of the Empire, in its expansion and success in taking over Thera. I hear and now swear and oath to you and myself, that I will do whatever it takes to make the Empire prosper, I will from today, as all good citizens should, strive to some day become the Emperor and thus be the best that I can be. And finally I wish to thank my parents and siblings for providing me with inspiration to outdo them, and I send a silent pray to lord Enlilth that my unborn child and late wife see us today, as we graduate as the future for the Empire. Thank you.
As the giant moves down from the podium the crowd applauds him, when things calm down names begins to be called out, and more students receive their diplomas.
