Zylundak DarkTears, Darktears, Faithful Noldarian Smith, Smith of the Noldarian Forge
DescriptionDark flame-red hackle, smudged by soot, and flecked with dull white feathers, comes down across the top of this avians head with a small black strip of feathers riding along the sides of his head just above his ears. Dull gray feathers, and a gray-green stripe marks the start of his face, just below a pair of murky ocean-blue eyes, which are highlighted underneath by a pair of tear drop shaped burns. Somewhat tattered a scorched black cape starts just below his neck and hangs down to his feet, opened about his massive sinewy arms, with a small dark hood laying down his back in between his wings. Black armguards adorned with small steel rivets for knuckles, barely cover his hands and upper arm, leaving exposed multiple scars as well as burn marks on both sides of each forearm yet allowing a greater ease of movement. A midnight-black leather jerkin inlaid with black steel and singed by flame covers his well-sculpted, sinewy chest. Tapering from a large back to a thin front is an ancient sash, tied in the middle and dripping grayish water each time it sways in the wind. Dark leather claw guards with entwined steel, cover his small clawed feet. With one last look you notice a large tatoo on his right arm, that of a Hammer and Anvil, the mark of Thror.

RoleChapter 3 Previous role Added Sun Jun 1 09:37:46 2003 at level 48:Not long after returning from Udgaard I learned that Commander Findlebisk had retired from his position as Village Commander and a new rites were to be held. So replying to Lord Kastellyns note I took my place within the villages rites of leadership. Within the few days after the first of our village passed away, It Began with Brogg. Brogg a long time friend of mine whom had achieved his final title died his final death not to be reborn, which came as a great loss and mourning spread throughout the village. Next was Wakachacha also a great loss and the only gnome I have ever met that in a dual that could defeat me with his hands. Although the greatest loss by far was my closest friend, Miradur whom not even achieved his final title, but I believe him truly to be a legend in my own eyes. Miradur was much more than a village defender to me, he represented what I sought to make by brethren into, a battle technician whom would not stop pushing himself just as I, to the brink every time. Each of my brother villagers played some part in my training and helped me prepare for the upcoming rites, though with their deaths, their memory lives on as fuel for my own life. Soon after their passing I rededicated myself into an even more strenuous training and learning alone regiment, pushing myself to the brink many times over again but always coming back for more. Within the next few weeks the rites were to be held but one day while I was training a passerby happened to call out my name. I was walking back from the past along eastern road and a man following a wagon stopped me. He said, "I am known as Draylok and I was a student of your father" feeling slightly hesitant I reached out to grasp his hand looking to his forearms I knew that it was true. He told me that my father had met a challenger for a dual for control of his school and he lost. He and I spoke a little longer and he said "you should go visit again soon for your fathers sak" but before he could finish I had took flight and was making my way across the fields to Tar Valon. I reached Udgaard in a little under a days flight, still slightly winded I raced to the school. Once inside the classroom was a clutter all of the students performing the same maneuvers countless times, as mindless zombies. Their trainer was standing at the front of the classroom calling orders, so I decided to go introduce myself. About three steps away he said, "I know who you are and youre not welcome here any more." Staring at him in amazement I asked "On whos account?" in a sudden rush to his feet he said "MINE." Over in the corner of the room my father stood up he said, "It was a fair match and he wo" before he could finish I stopped him and we went outside to talk. He told me not to interfere and that the new wave of Udgaardian forces werent to be taught the way of shadow fighting as we were, that it was a new age and new teachings of mind and body were to take over. I talked with my father a bit more and convinced him that he had to make a change, that both modern and new teachings should be practiced not out with one and in with another. We re-entered the school together and made an agreement with the new Captain that if I won in a match against he and his selected trainers the old ways would be taught. Annoyed I agreed, and we set up an arena with all the students gathere

RoleChapter 4 Previous role Added Tue Apr 15 15:36:13 2003 at level 30:Time passes somewhat faster when youre in the thick of battle, and now no longer being on the outside, time seems to be passing by at an astounding speed. I introduce myself to each of my new brethren, confidant in myself. One day while training, the Bloody head of the Magician was taken from our throne. The Warlocks stowed away the head within their alter, and prepared their angel against our assault by shielding it well with invoker magic as well as transmutation spells. To begin with Grjarincx started on the Angel, and soon retreated. I began communicating with my brother, and sought out applicants, I called them to my side, to strike as a force against the angel, Nalwarf, Compex, and Miradur, though Miradur struck the wrong angel and subsequently died from his mistake. While I lead Nalwarf and Compex to a quick victory, as we pounded away against the angel, with me taking as many of the blows as I possibly could. As the angel fell, a strong congratulations came throughout the village, from my elders and brothers, and a strong voice resounded throughout the village as a lord congratulated us on a rain well preformed. I resumed my training soon after ward, and eventually worked my way to the forge, to give praise to lord Thror. After having a few words with Draugnir we both began to pray, and as I knelt down before the mighty anvil, a presence came into view. When I raised my head up I saw Thror removing his cloak and allowing me to see him. With a hearty greeting we introduced ourselves and began to speak. We noted many things of my feelings and my driving force, the Fire within myself that allows me to push further and faster, than most of my brethren. We then spoke of how each of the spheres he resides over sands to each of the others, how they are intertwined. I told him of how I had came to my current title and how my life had been so far, and a chuckle and a sniff here and there, the conversation went well. While we discussed how the process of the forge is present in my life, we became more and more serious. Nearing the end of that part of our conversation he spoke aloud " I am Proud O My Mithril" I understood what he meant where as the beautiful material shined brilliantly itself. He was speaking of me, and before long I arose with his brand upon my arm, now apart of the Noldarian history itself, I was now an apprentice to the hammer, a growing smith. I spend several days watching and attempting to mimic the Noldar within the forge, so that I may too one day know what it is like to not only forge myself and people but weapons as well. Later on I found Miradur had finally achieved his hut, and in his congratulations, we spoke in more depth. Miradur follows lord Kastellyn, which makes he and I kindred in more ways than our race and our village. Miradur and I are both as strong in spirit as body and mind, we make ourselves into rather extraordinary training partners, with both he and I teaching the other one thing or another, each bout we fight. We travel beside each other many times, training as we battle, and will continue to do so in the future. After leaving my brethren for a short time I took a moment to return to Udgaard and visit my father. I found the Captain training a new group of recruits and on my approach threw a dagger my way. With speed he had never imagined I caught it and returned i

RoleChapter 5 Previous role Added Sat Apr 12 22:01:03 2003 at level 25:After leaving the Inn, I began my new quest. I searched for days what I herd of to be the round about Dwarven Town of Mortorn. For it is where I thought to search for the Thane, the mountain where dwarf heritage reigns supreme. I was on my way up the mount and got turned about within the darkness of the night, and stumbled through a hole in the rocks on the way to the city itself. Once inside I saw two enormous statues, which seemed alive, as they breathed and snuffed. Further along into the cavern I spotted another statue, it was of the great Dwarf himself, Thror had seemingly been carved into stone, with incredible craftsmanship. Only another short step forward and I found a great Dwarf, holding a Forgehammer in one hand, I was sure that was whom I sought, though when I got closer the man introduced himself as Drugnir and asked what I wanted within this place. I told him that I was looking to find the Forge of Thror, and he knelt down before a huge anvil in the middle of the cavern. I looked around and found some markings on the anvil, some in many languages that I could not read myself. Though one word kept appearing over and over it was HammerSong, and a little closer look about there were precepts engraved into the anvil, first the precept of the Hammer and that of the Anvil. After reading them closely I felt myself drawn to the precept of the Hammer, and have since been listening to the singing of the hammers further in the cavern, and praying to Lord Thror to help me to learn my own hammersong. When leaving with newly found knowledge and understanding I resumed my training, and while training flourintine I was called by the Captain of the village. The bloody head was taken and I was going to help them recover it. I took my time waiting for the opportune moment, and finished my flourintine training at the harpies. I worked the Sentinel down and captain Aidamo and I finished it. We spoke for quiet some time, I told him of my past, and the events that bought me around to seeking the village. Learning more and more as we discussed different facets of the village philosophy, I finally gained his recommendation and left the Captain and massive giant, feeling rather good about myself. Resuming my training for several days, I again was approached by another villager this time the Drillmaster of the village, after speaking of many the same things that the Captain and I did, and learning a new path over the mountains around behind the city of Hamsah we concluded our interview, again I left feeling rather confidant having defeated an assassin to help prove my fighting abilities a short time earlier. Several more days passed I again resumed my training and had just reached the twenty fifth title of the guild of warriors when my chance arose. Commander Findlebisk awoke from his hut, seizing my chance I spoke to the wise gnome. We began conversing before the Massive giant and discussed a great deal of the village past, from the Seven day Inquisition, to which villagers accompanied Lord BoltThrower into the mountains and what he was in search of. We briefly talked over strategy and a brief test of my fighting abilities and he asked me to kneel before him. The moment had come, this was my chance, and I was to become a Student of War. An elder Duergar showed me around the small village, I met seve

RoleChapter 6 Previous role Added Tue Apr 8 11:52:54 2003 at level 15:Arriving in Galadon was an experience, I could hear yells and screams all about, throughout the night I could see beggars roaming the streets, and hear the drunken slurs of the bar men as they wondered to their homes. This town was much different from my home of Udgaard. I came before the guild about ten at night, and the Bartender was still up serving some form of brew. I headed to the west and introduced myself to the new Guildmaster, and we got acquainted in the dark of night, he taught me some new sparing techniques and weapon forms, along with helping me hone my defenses. For hours we studied together until I had gotten it right, and he commented me on my skill thus far. He and I sat down in the guild exhausted, and we spoke. I told him of my trainer, and he gasp. He said "No fargin wonder." I asked what he meant and he replied "That Captain of yours I have herd of before. He brings forth the Fire of his students, Consider yourself very lucky" With a slight smile and a sigh I understood what he meant. I had noticed it myself at times. I wondered why my mind wouldnt let my body let up even if I was so hurt I could hardly go on, why I could not stop until I got something completely right, and why my body and form had to be as strong as it possibly could before I would let myself move on. Thanks to this Guildmaster I finally understood why. He said if youre the kind of guy that seeks battle you should visit the Inn of Eternal Star, and listen to the tales spoken there, I am sure your quest will begin anew once you have listened and studied their writings for a little while. So after some intensive training of my own, I took the mans advice, and went for a visit to the Inn. I learned of the Lords of the realm, their beliefs and teachings, I learned of nearly all the different clans, and how they interacted, yet I found myself yearning for more. So with numerous Vouchers I read history after history, story after story until I got to a rather large book, dwarf marked, entailing the History of a Village. It spoke of a mighty warrior clan that was betrayed by those whom had created them, sheltered and took care of them. My body trembled as I remembered the Screams of my parents, and that staggering word "Execution." I had found my calling and after having words with my father, decided that would be the path I choose, because I felt as the author of this book felt, His name was Thror HammerSong, and I was bound to seek him out, both for his teachings, and his knowledge of this village.

RoleChapter 7 Previous role Added Sat Apr 5 19:36:44 2003 at level 4:*SMACK* Wake up filth! The first words I remember of my life. I was just a boy when my family and I were thrown out of our home, Arial city. On the way out they were escorted off and I remember hearing the echo... Execution... I was thought to be so weak at my age of only seven I could not fend for myself, and they were right, throwing me out the city gates down to the mountain. It was all I could do with my weak wings to keep myself from crashing. I awoke the next day groggy and disoriented, remembering what had happened the day before. For weeks I managed to survive off of the leavings of passersby, their camps I would sneak in and steal food and occasional supplies from. Until one eve I was caught and in my struggle to break away from my captor I was taken into a place of mental calm and wellness. The woman whom had caught me was a Paladin, a Noble Holy warrior, and she vowed to take me away from the mountain to get me to another city that would take me in. We began our journey after she paid a visit to the city for supplies of her own. It was a slow trek down the winding mountain paths and spooky caverns and it seemed as though every morning or afternoon we would face one or more of the elements, rain, snow, hail, and wind were very common occurrences. Although by the weeks end she stated that we were near the end of the mountain. In that nights storm we finally mad it to the bottom of the mount, and saw lights ahead. We both took off in a dash toward the city gates. Upon our arrival a moment of silence was held followed by an outraging war, the city we had came across was Lokes Farm, Udgaard. I was restrained with ease and the guards held me as the Man-at-arms and his company destroyed my savior. Waking up the next morn I found myself in a different set of clothes, and what seemed like soldier students all around me, a Captain entered the room to give us a briefing, though I hid in the shadows I sat and watched as demonstrations were held, fighting tactics, martial arts, and street brawling challenges were brought to my eyes. At the end of the demonstration I made a slight move and it allow the Captain to affix his gaze upon me. He snatched me up, lifted me into the air, and spoke aloud, "How Old are you Son?" I replied my age as far as I knew was seven. Impressed with my ability to hide he took me under his personal command. As the weeks and months turned to years he became the closest thing I had to a father, clothing me, feeding me and instructing me in the ways of life. If I fell out of line I was punished, many times by singing my feathers, and rod-iron scorching to my forearms. After a span of time passed the punishments began to dull, the pain became nearly a blur, I would not allow myself to show my true feelings to my enemies, it had been his goal the entire time... I began running tasks and midnight operations along with several members of the Udgaardian elite, we were mainly spies, in prosecutions of powers sometimes. I know of our operations in many cities such as Hillcrest, and our newly overtaken town formally known as Ofcol. I after assisting in several assassination missions in the dark of night I was sent to a new home The city of Galadon opened its arms to me as a citizen being funded by Udgaard and my new father. I was given a secretive name, the Captain said that I would

RoleChapter 1 The Reforging of the Village. Added Mon Sep 1 19:47:11 2003 at level 51:Many days have passed since the rites granted me Leadership of the village yet many things still trouble me. Even after the zombies were destroyed the village still remains semi weakened for now we not only fight Scions, Nexites and Warlocks but Imperials as well. The imperial force is very overwhelming at times with their sheer numbers they over run the village, but as more and more new blood flows the tides of war seem to be slowly coming around. New twists to our war come about every day though, especially with the Golden Tower and the Rift being near one, no one knows what will happen. Our fronts grow and the sounds of battle have never rang more truly within my mind. I finally have the power to force change upon our war and my young villagers are growing quiet powerful each one being pushed further and harder with the trials of our new enemies, my elders, myself, and their peers. The village tempers a little bit each day as I still dual with all of my brothers I can, and test their knowledge of different situations. I have confidence that our enemies will falter, but it will take much more than brute force especially in our war with the imperials. If the Warmaster takes the position of Emperor things will have to be handled quiet differently as he wishes to continue the war as Astilamos did, though if the leader of the Clerics takes the position a truce will be formed. Many things to think about without even concentrating on my fading health, as my Captain pointed out in my last visit. With the days to come I could not have imagined the turn of events. Within a matter of only a few months the village is growing in leaps and bounds, with the Empire war abolished and the new recruits turning out to be very pleasing in skill, the village is strong again, though still not perfectly so. I have also since been informed of my Generals wish to resign and am looking for more villagers to attempt to step up, considering Ozlif greatly for he is one of the Eldest villagers, and I have seen him at many times show great examples of what it is to be General or Captain. My heart soars, as my fire burns bright, the rebirth of the village will also be my rebirth I am confidant. The Thane is very hard to see, but I trust his trials and tests for me are just and worthy, I will never stop seeking to mold and remold my villagers and purify my enemies. I feel that with the renewed strength of the village this will become more and less of a task in the same token but its my task, it is who I am and what I live to do.

RoleChapter 2 In the middle of Village Termoil. Added Sun Jun 29 11:36:21 2003 at level 51:Years seem to pass more quickly the older I get, though the events I witness never seem to slow. It wasnt long ago I witnessed Wiglaf dual with Findlebisk, two great warriors within the village, a dispute that was rather weakening to the resolve of the village and thus resulted in the end of either holding a hut. Now the village is without a drillmaster and two great allies. It all happened rather strangely with an argument going on between the two, loud enough for the entire village to hear. Their words stirred Grogim whom called them to the circle and all whom were within the village as well. Soon Drahkul and I were with the two dualists when Grogim arrived the dual began, but unknown truly to me was Grogims order to Drahkul that if either decided to remove the other, they were both to be removed from their huts. The dual went as I expected with the Drillmaster the victor and he asked for Findlebisk to be removed, the rest is history. Only a few days later the first of the sightings occurred, the first of a cloaked figure visiting the white tower, and I remembered someone that had scouted the golden tower before which helped me place the figure. He gave the book of thirteen to the Amrylin after laying out all the sisters with ease and he left by waving his hand and creating a portal to escape. The cloaked figure had disappeared and made a deal with the white tower, what it was exactly I still do not know. The next sighting of the figure was within the village. I was learning within the High Lords keep one day when I herd the crash of the Massive giant, as the cloaked figure threw him aside with just a touch of his hand. Soon I arrived within the village just in time to see the figure reveal himself to Holtzendorff. I dont know how strong a zombie god is, but when Holtzendorff saw the figure, he backed down with a quickness. The figure entered the shrine just as I did and began to make an offer to us. He wanted the village to make a strike upon the Moderator, and with a wave of his hand showed us his weak point, at the base of his neck. The blatant use of magic enraged me along with the village elders and we charged the figure, only to be thrown back with exceptional force then the figure escaped through a portal just as he had before. The final sighting was before the Golden tower, where I had first spotted someone checking it out during a raid, check its sinking platform. The figure waved his hand and raised it out of the water, then wove the crystals among many of the nearby islands around into a new base. Soon he left just as he always does, by ripping a hole within the air, and moving through the portal. Weather the figure has anything to do with all the zombies within the village I still dont know yet, but I also have a couple other ideas. Talia a mysterious semi-god resurrected from the past, and with all the lords I have spoken to they agree the figure could be a chaos mage returned from the past, so Talia could be a large clue. During the time I have been learning all I can about the figure and the zombies, I have been becoming a stronger leader, and have since been granted the position of Captain of Battle. I dont know what will happen next, but I am trying to prepare myself and the village to overcome whatever we encounter.
