Description

Your eyes fall upon the form of a slender Dark-Elf woman. A single dark black
braid is pulled back tight from the back of her head, and falls in a single
cord reaching almost to her feet. The weathered lines in the dark skin around
her mouth and eyes reveals her age as probably one of the oldest drow you
have ever seen. The whites of her eyes contrast eerily with black pupils
which are set upon equally black irises, making her gaze seem either slightly
comical or entirely maniacal. Yet great care seems to have been taken to keep
both herself and her outfittings in perfect order.

Dark Breeze..

There are those souls which are damned from the moment they are conceived.
Call it the creation of a being with free will, or the filthy binding lack of
free will, or simply the embodiment of foul humor created by the Dark Gods of
Pain and Suffering.

In most instances, folks might imagine the physical manifestation of such
foul beings as hulking, scarred, aberations of nature-- easily recognizeable
by their putrid outer traits which reflect their inner filth.

However, this is not the case with Khalla K'ourt.

In her case, this abysmal humour of dark creation manifests itself in an
outwardly tidy, deliberate persona, with unconcealed inner desires to hurt
and to harm and to cause pain. Her nature is a true dichotomy-- built from
the blocks of outward tact and inward disorganization and confusion.

As such, Khalla suffers from an obsessive desire to keep all things
surrounding her clean and tidy-- her visage and outward appearance are
peramount over almost everything else. Though something inside of her seeks
to disrupt he balance of order itself.

She is comforted by the dark breeze which seem to guide her actions, but she
is distraught over her lack of control over the direction in which the breeze
comes from...

Role

Chapter 1

A disturbing vision.

As Khalla lay bleeding from her latest battle, she found herself for a brief
moment overcome by the most realistic dream she ever had experienced:

A sweet vision to behold... at first. As in most dreams, the image came
lumbering into existence slowly and hazily, against the odd tapestry of both
first-person realism, and third person detachment. Unable to clearly gain
perspective, Khalla began to take in the juxtaposed feelings of both extreme
hope, and soul-wrenching despair.

She was walking beside some beautiful, ethereal being-- either some past mate
which she had once taken a sincere liking, or some minor deity, for which she
felt an extreme attachment. Which would be odd, considering she had never
thought of herself as thinking this way toward another being. Ever. In any
case, the being was certainly not of this world, and it carried itself
without fear and without pride. Yet it led her on...

Suddenly, as out from a swirling haze of mist, the two were entering a giant
cathedral, with ceilings as high as the heavens, and stones which could have
only been cut from the beginnings of time itself. As she peered to her
partner, it returned a momentary gaze of comfort and understanding...

Then, all at once, the partner's eyes faded into night-black orbs and its
face peeled back into a form which would defy terror itself. A shrieking
clamor louder than all of Thera falling in on itself filled her ears. Khalla
feels as though she has been struck over the head with death itself, and is
now peering up at her own self, somehow below the ground beneath her feet and
staring up at her own form...

...from out of the bottom of her pant-legs begins to flow thousands of black
insects, each with thousands of insects descending from their constantly
erupting innards. Yet she was somehow still able to stand and move as though
these things were guiding here the whole time. Terrified, she peers up into
the face... her own face, which is now composed of shiny, greasy black
snakes, coiled into the perfect shape of a humanoid head, with mouths and
fangs devouring on her once perfect nose, eyes, ears...

The last thing she hears before she awakes back into (reality?) is "There is
no coming back from what you are. You are one of us..."
