Oh, sure, he loved practical jokes, but pranks won't
get you your daily loaf, will they? Well, except for
that one time when he... Well, let's just say Nortim
still looks both ways before swimming in the lake.

Mercy

Over the years, Corsix has had his beliefs questioned many times, most often
in the face of his dark adversaries. He had made it a habit to never take
anything that wasn't either readily put to use, or especially dangerous, from
his fallen foes. Also, he had refrained from striking those of the dark that
had been felled so recently, or been left destitute. Usually, this won him
little, save a dagger in the back, or verbal lambasting from his foes, smugly
berating him on his naivety. He continues these practices, however, choosing
to lead by example, hoping that he might inspire others to act with mercy in
the manner that he does.

Additionally, he has been heard to invoke the Archon Lord's name when he is
in great duress, hoping to calm his mind and ease his spirit with Corrlaan's
name.

Chapter 1

Wisdom, or Witticisms?
Added Sun Feb 17 00:17:41 2008 at level 50:

With the attainment of the white robes of an Acolyte
(which clash with his traveler's garb), Corsix finds
himself in a predicament he'd never before considered:
Witticisms versus Wisdom. While he wishes to act as a
beacon, he has only recently come to realize that a
true Acolyte shines not only for the Light, but for
all of Thera.

This makes it somewhat difficult for him to produce
satirical or propaganda works in good conscience, and
his willingness to mimic the voices of the Dark in
humour has somewhat diminished.

If a true Acolyte is to shine for all of Thera, wouldn't
his comical works only serve to alienate those of the
Dark, and thus put them even further beyond the grasp
of redemption? Because of this, he has withheld
publicizing any new works that might be construed as
'insulting', greatly reducing his desire to create new
works of any sort.

Truly a great predicament indeed, for a bard.
