Description

Hunched over slightly before you stands a half-drow of far less than
imposing stature. While his arms seem full grown, they look savagely
disfigured and seem to provide little use, aside from the smallest
of movements. Covering the majority of its body, black and tan
splotches can be seen along the frail and sad sight before you.
make it look normal. Hanging near limp at his side, his left hand,
you notice, is much smaller than average, looking extremely weak and
fragile. In an odd contrast to his sickly build, intensely strong
blue eyes peer out above a twisted mongrel face, a self-inflicted
twisting that comes from a slightly permanent peering, mixed with an
intense disgust for the things around him. Neither smooth nor jagged,
his facial features simply hint at unpleasantness. His body has
numerous jagged white scars that resemble the shape of a phoenix.
A small skull swarmed by hornets can be seen tattoed on the skin
just below the neck on the left shoulder.

With a sense of his own mortality upon him the young cripple has been filled
with a renewed feeling of urgency. It is not death he fears, only that he
might not finish his Lords legacy before he moves on to his place of rest.
He has become critical or those around him and angered by any he feels is not
placing the Empire before their own needs.

I am his Prelate, an instrument of his will. Now I seek
to further the swarm by being recognized as a priest within
the Empire. The High Priest, Zhenzar, has stated
that he will accept me within his sect and I have gained
the support of the War Master, Dryzzel, in my endeavor.
As the false prophets fall my Lord's strength will grow
and his he will reign supreme in the heavens.

Creation

The question is, what do you seek to create, mortal?

That question has played over and over in my mind. I sought only to create a
whole form for myself. To be accepted by my peers. The Hand assured me as a
magician I would never be seen as an equal in the Empire. The Witness told
me to go forth and show the glory that citizens could bring to the Empire.
Then came the hornet, a dark voice in the reaches of my mind. Willing me to
submit my own will for his and to create an orderly society in his name. To
create a place of power and authority for him.

I will do each.I shall take up the mantle of priest. I will create hope
for those that follow me. They wil know the glory citizens can achieve. As
Lord Khasotholas controls the hive so shall I control the swarm that goes
forth in his name. We will create greatness.

Now to go forth and discover the path of the Hornet.

I have met another. A dark-elf that lacked eyes, but had unbelievable sight.
was afflicted as I.His race making him a mockery to nature. His lack
of eyes causing him to be an outcast of his race. Though the power he held
was that of a god. I to wish to hold this power. A priest of his by the
name of Vas has led me into the dark-elf's Empire. He has promised to
introduce me to his Lord. What can this dark-elf aid me in creating?

"Why? Why another damned cripple, gods, why!?".. Aiekooso could hear the
yells of his father in through the flap of his tent, as he likely gazed
upon his newborn brother. Nature had failed his father again. Aiekooso
was born a cripple, and now his brother. With the death of his mother
during childbirth, his father would likely not tolerate the existance
of another lame in the family, which oddly did not bother Aiekooso. He
grew increasingly disgusted with his race. Most races, at that. So
frail.. easily disposed of.

Standing, he parted the flap of his father's tent a crack and peered
within. Clutching a ceremonial dagger, his father had laid the child
to rest. Closing the flap, he moved quickly back to his own tent, a
very small tent in it's own right, but not far from his where his
father's was. Sitting, Aiekooso grasped at a mound of unmolded clay,
working it with an intense gaze in his eyes. After a moment's work,
he lifted in his hand a small, extremely precise clay model of himself. It
did not take a practiced eye to have noticed the strength intended in
the earthen figurine, the arms not frail or disfigured, the left hand not
showing signs of atrophy. "You, my little friend, will be..." he said
quietly.

Setting the small figurine down, he returned to reading his book. The
Beginnings of Invocation. He would learn.. completely. Nature had
failed, it had made him a mockery. Now nature would be his tool he a
weapon for his desires as payment for the injustice it had delt him.
that did not crumble at mere touch. It would be done.. It would... It
must! Slamming the book shut, the young cripple gathered his things in a
small rucksack. With neither word nor sign to his father, he left. Life
had begun.
