Description

You see a radiant Elven woman who stands roughly five feet, nine inches tall.
A soft glow emanates from her armor, which is comprised of finely crafted
mithril chainmail. She has long, thick, dirt-blonde hair that is elaborately
braided and kept away from her visage. Her features are sharp, yet perfectly
balanced: she has large green eyes, a small nose and mouth, and straight
teeth. Her eyes are decorated with light blue shadow, her lips are colored
with pink dye of some sort, and a faint scent of fresh citrus and amber can
be caught in her wake. Her physique is athletic, if a bit slender.

A curious looking hyacinth flower, lavender in color with bright, beautiful
blossoms, is tucked between the pressings of her ear and hair.

Personal Goal: Protect the Ancient Light and restore Virtue.
- * The Ancient Light being the holy image of creation the Gods
- originally intended for life on Thera. Somewhere along the
- Theran timeline, man has fallen. With the help from the Gods
- of Light and a few good mortals, Kayella seeks restoration.
- Virtue being that which is holy, sacred and pure. To have
- nobility, integrity, honor towards yourself, family and
- others, and courage. These are the basic tenets of Virtue.

Character Background

- Native to Darsylon, current resident of Voralian City, Kayella
grew up as an only child in the Darsylonian Palace with her parents,
Feratha (mother) and Gaelren (father). The Avaedyria family is not of
royalty, but they are solid contributors to the city of Elves. Her
father is a metal worker, helping to forge various mithril weapons
and armors for the local stores and the Royal Guard. Her mother is
a blessed woman of Lord Corrlaan, and is often found tending the
wounds of all people, from commoners, to guards, to aristocrat's.
- Feratha takes more to the path of healing and protection
within the faith of Lord Corrlaan. She has been a devout for many,
many Elven years now. To her, the shield is mightier than the sword,
and diplomacy should always be administered first. Gaelren on the
other hand, is more of a warrior. He possesses a natural warrior
spirit and a nobleman's courage. He has long retired from his days
as a Royal Guardsman, but he has yet to lay down his sword. To
ensure the quality of the blades and armor he forges, he must first
put it to the test himself.
- Kayella would often become entranced by her fathers ability
to wield a sword. Even a faint chuckle could be heard under her
sweet voice, when her father would soundly defeat stoic and overly
confident Royal Guard members in a friendly competition match. Her
mother very much wanted her to pursue a life of healing, just as
she does. But the gleam in Kayella's eye when watching her father
would tell a very different story.
- When Kayella became of the proper age, she began the study
of sword-and-shield fighting from her reluctant father. It was
made clear to Kayella at the beginning of her training that the
sword is designed for killing, and no ornamental words could
change that. It takes a great deal of will to wield a sword with
great responsibility. Kayella had asked her father one day if
there were anything that he feared. He responded he feared never
being able to see her and Feratha again, which inspired him to
train harder. When one has a sense of purpose and duty, it
motivates them to do great things, not only for themselves, but
for those around them.
- During the time of training with her father, Kayella also
received teaching lessons from her mother for several years.
These lessons helped Kayella to temper her fighting philosophy
considerably--along with her fathers inherited arrogance. She
learned many lessons, including: Rectitude, Benevolence, Honesty,
Loyalty, Courage, Respect, and Honor. Along with this, the
beginnings of Lord Corrlaan's tenets. All of this has led up to
the current journey of Kayella. And in an effort to better the
world, she has set upon her own quest to train within the Warrior
Guild, and educate herself in the way of Lord Corrlaan.
