Description

A beautiful elven lady appears before you, her eyes
filled with calm and peaceful serenity, white in color.
Obvious wrinkles can be seen below her weary eyes signifying
her age. Her facial features are sharp and nicely sculpted
as if like a statue. Her smile is simply mesmerizing, as
though she is expressing her warmness towards you. Her hair,
silver in color, flows past her waist towards the floor.
Worn on her is a simple clean robe, a pair of slippers and
held within her right hand is a staff. Within her left hand
is a tome with glowing words on it. On her forehead, a
tattoo of an angel's wings can be seen glowing brightly.

Chapter 20

Protection

Slightly south of the tree city, Darsylon, there lives a
small family of three, who trade with the merchants in
Darsylon for living. They would hunt for the wilds and
trade them for other necessities in the city. The living
was simple, but happy. The family is formed by a couple
and their daughter. Her maiden name is Lauraine, family
name is D'Yoarhsa. Unlike the other elves folk in Darsylon,
Lauraine has no liking for jeweleries and other fancy
stuffs. She enjoy the simple and quiet life. But one thing
she could not understand, which is why the elves in Darsylon
are so proud and so berating of other races. She knows that
all races, has to eat and drink, none can escape the common
cycle of life which is Birth, Age, Sickness and Death. But
why Would the different races berate each other, more often
forming into wars, causing the innocent to get hurt and die.

Lauraine, knowing that the differences between races, will
sooner or later, cause warfare towards her home, possibly
hurting the most important people that matters to her, which
is her family. She knows that all mortal deserves a chance to
live. There is no reason to taketake away another's life
without a proper reason. The only difference between one mortal
from another, is the reason for living, the cause of the actions.
Most importantly, no matter what mistake one has made, that one
deserves a second chance, if not a third chance. No one deserves
to be judged upon, just base on what they are, not even from the
decision one has made at one time. It requires alot of understanding
and observation before any judgement can be placed.

If any innocent has to die, let it be her. There is nothing more
valuable than life. There is a purpose to everyone's reason for
living. My purpose, my cause, is to protect and if my sacrifice
will save another, then I shall die. After a long conversation
with her parents, Lauraine has made up her mind, to travel and seek
out the Archon Lord who oversees those who walk the path of protection
which Lauraine had chose to walk upon. She bid her family farewell
holding a strong hope to protect and faith to believe, she began
her journey.

Determination and more about Lauraine

Having joined the Fortress of Light, allows Lauraine to preach further
to those embathed with darkness, to turn away from their current path.
She is determined, for she believed that none is far too hopeless to
be rescued. Something more aboue Lauraine, is that, she is actually,
a writer, one who writes poetry, songs, though there is one common
theme or topic, its all random. A simple artistic healer she is.

Lauriane is confuse lately, regarding some future options. She wonder
if she should ask for an opportunity to ascend to the heaven to work
by the side of Archon Lord. She is happy enough to be able to become
one of Archon Lord's archons. Though she believe she would be more
happy if she is able to stay at Archon Lord's sanctuary for eternity
to pray for the safety of the people, as a Disciple of Protection.
Sometimes, she wonder if she is being too greedy to be wanting to
hope for those.
