Description

A graceful creature stands before you reaching roughly six and a half feet
tall as his posture suggests confidence. He appears to be well groomed though
his hands and face are a bit dirty. His complexion is that of a rich ivory
hue with his skin seemingly quite supple. Two lithe pointy ears poke out of
his dark mahogany hair as it falls down to his shoulders neatly outlining his
facial features...

Two piercing jade green gloves dart about from his eyesockets reflecing every
bit of light around as they sit atop a small slender nose that flares
slightly with each silent breath he takes. He has no facial hair at all and
you notice two pale pink lips smeared across his face in an innocent grin.
His lips part with each smirk he flashes revealing perfectly set white teeth
as they sparkle above a well-defined jaw line assuring his masculinity.

Chapter 6

Tel'dethian

The life of this young minstrel has been nothing short of arduous, yet a
strong spirit can never be broken...

Kynaian was birthed in Tel'dethian, a large city of intricate wood-elven
construct, quite peaceful and hidden from the outside world. The city itself
was breathtaking, built high in the trees and connected by thousands of rope
bridges from one house to the next. It hovered a bit over three hundred feet
in the air, far out of reach from any large scale attack or beasts.

The father of Kynaian just so happened to be the leader of Tel'dethian, his
wife had passed and he was only left with his two twin sons. He ruled this
city with a soft yet just heart, and so had his family before him ever since
it's establishment.

Kynaian's brother, Farunil, was beyond a mischevious prank artist. Always
creating chaos wherever he went, even within his daily classes. Kynaian began
to grow disdain for Farunil and the tainting he would bring daily to their
name with his disrespect. Kynaian's father could not help but to show more
favor toward his more well behaved son, as he was becoming older and knowing
the leadership would be his one day.

Chapter 5

The Attack

Kynaian had lived with his father and brother in the palace ever since he was
born, but as he continued to excel in his studies and make his father proud..
his father decided it was time to reward him with his own dwelling as a step
into manhood. The King could see the envy continuously building up within
Farunil as well, and he feared for the safety of his beloved child and future
king. With the security of his son in mind, he constructed him his own
dwelling, but little did he know.. it would be the bane of his child...

After Kynaian had moved in, there came a night that changed everything.
Farunil knew that he would live in his brothers shadow for his whole life if
he did not make a move, so he and three of his cronies planned a strike upon
him. As Kynaian laid to rest in the darkness, Farunil and his band lurked to
his abode when the moon moved directly above them.

Picking the lock silently they slipped into Kynaian's house on soft feet as
they decended upon him like a skilled assassination plot. Farunil gagged him
and they bound his legs and his hands behind his back as they lifted him from
his bed. As they exited the front door they threw him over the side of the
bridge as Kynaian fell helplessly to the forest floor with a boneshattering
crush...

Writhing in angish and nearly unconscious he laid there as he heard his
decietful brother scaling the tree down to him. He closed his eyes and just
continued his muttled utterances under the silk gag he choked on. "You will
never be better then me dear brother..." echoed off his eardrums as he opened
his eyes. The gag was ripped out of his mouth but he had no energy left to
even cry out. He was finally able to focus upon his brother as he grinned
evilly as he held a glowing vial. "You may die elsewhere and forever be
erased Kynaian." spoke Farunil as he poured a mysterious vial of liquid down
Kynaian's throat.

Kynaian's head began to pound with his heart rapidly matching it's pulses
before he passed out from the pain he could not stand any longer.

Chapter 4

A Whole New World

Kynaian awoke slowly and cried with each movement he tried to make. He opened
his eyes and attempted to look about his surroundings, yet he could not make
out where he was. He was laying upon wet leaves within a dark forest
completly foreign to him.

He heard footsteps begin to rustle in the distance that seemed to be
accompanied by more and more as his heart surged with fear. He closed his
eyes and begin to whisper.. "I deserve nothing.. but please someone protect
me, someone save me". But his eyes opened to four snarling large wolves
glaring at him hungrily in his bloody and beaten state.

He waited for their strike and closed his eyes until he felt a gentle breeze
roll over him and caress his body, whispering "Help him my children" as it
surged with one final gust. The wolves removed theirselves from the attack
stance they stood in, and walked to Kynaian slowly as they tended carefully
to his wounds.

As time continued, Kynaian was nourished by the pack of loyal wolves. They
would forage for him and bring back wild nuts, berries, and mushrooms until
he was able to move more. His bones healed together as they were before, and
the whole time he could feel himself becoming one with the woods, he felt as
if he could finally hear it speak to him.

Chapter 3

Adoption

Kynaian was overcome with supernatural joy every night before he laid to rest
within the woods. He could not do anything but sing out with a melodic voice,
for he had been given a song to sing.. a song of love, and feeling love. A
song containing the revelation of mercy and care, a Mother's heart. Soon the
song overtook him and he would always be bursting out in melody. The wolves
were offset at first, but soon grew desire the notes as much as Mother did.

Kynaian continued running with his pack of friends for some time, and he was
even able to discern their personalities and know their desires from simply
looking into their eyes. He spent many years with the wolves learning what
foods to eat and what to not, how to hunt, and most of all how to hear
Mother.

Soon the wolves were prompted to let Kynaian go, for he had learned all he
needed. Mother directed them out of the maze of a woodland where they dwelled
until they came upon the charted lands of Thera. Mother spoke to his soul and
consoled him, and he knew it was where he had to part.

Knowing that fate grabbed him from where he stood and placed him on better
ground, Kynaian has become one with himself. Though he missed his father at
first.. he realized there was a different calling on his life... that he was
released and adopted in the same moment. Now he wishes to glorify the one
that spared his life, and sing her song to Thera once again.

Reflections

*Kynaian sat at the edge of a quiet and serene pond. Looking at the surface,
he began to speak his mind... this is what the wind captured*

I never would have thought that a life away from Tel'dethian could have givin
me so many things... I worried of food, shelter, love, friends... yet Mother
has provided these things all for me in surplus, I still cannot understand
her. But then again, I do not need to, I will continue this dedication I have
made in my heart for her.

Since I left those woods, I have learned even more of the land. I pick my own
food and forage without help now, and even learned how to swing in the trees
unnoticed. Mother's song continues to emanate through me, every time I step
into the woodlands, I can feel my throat tingle with power and can only still
stand amazed at her mercy and compassion for my soul.

One thing ate at me as I still walked these lands, only Mother's conviction
could of set me free. I was in bondage to alcohol, made by the hands of man.
Looking back I am sickened with myself, but I will be no slave to anything,
especially not a damned drink. Praise her for her strength in time of need.

I know I am no beast of a man that will throw corpses in a pile of those
resisting us, but I will never cease my fight for Thar-Eris. Let my voice
continue to glorify Mother, and my her song stay sealed in me until my last
breath.

What Dwells Within

*Kynaian leans up against the inside of a mammoth hollow tree, stuck deep in
the middle of a shifting forest. After a bit of rehearsal, he melded with the
harmony of nature and began to think...*

Those words Jhoqu spoke, they ring in my head like the echo of a ravens cry
in the canyons. He says according to the lore of his clan, I am known as a
rare wolf spirit?... I cannot help but bear witness with this, but what does
this mean?

That day in the woods was so fateful... of all the creatures that Mother
wished me to learn from, to study, to fellowship with.. she chose the wolves.
Looking back, I realize that the whole time they were singing her song just
like me. That howl.. blanketing the forest with its piercing pitch as they
joined me.. they sung to her as well!

That howl.. it brought us together, it staved off dangers, it let the others
know when food was found, it was a cry of loneliness, and it was even
praise.. all differenced by pitches and lengths.. simply stunning!

Did an ancient clan of now scattered Cloud Giants uncover the mystery of the
spirit and the different forms it takes? The possibility that these wolves
spirits melded with mine? I can only continue to listen to the wind and
discover who I really am, and what Mother desires of me.
