Description

A large half-bovine half-man creature stands here, easily at horns height
over nine foot tall. Black shaggy fur covers his body and pokes through his
poorly fitting and likely aqquired clothing. A broad head is attached to a
thick and strong looking neck. Sprouting from this creatures head are a pair
of speckled in white and black horns. Blank black eyes peer from shaggy brows
a empty, shiney look to them. Flat white teeth flash from under thick lips,
and are brought into sharp contrast against its black muzzle and nose. Thick
muscles wrap each arm. Oddly angled muscular legs end in heavy and
dirty smoke colored hooves.

Chapter 1

A small battered journal is here, untitled and quickly written.

A small journal is here written in plan and large lettering,
You come upon the first and only entry.
Pain crackles through my body, agony well worth the payment. Upon ending the
spell my new body tenses with power I had not previously known power of the
sinew and muscle ah! Though this body is large and unwieldly its strength is
almost unmatched, and with magic I will be unstoppable! Staring across the
room at me my old body rolls across the floor Zhaltum clearly is unhappy with
the turn of events, no matter my magic will remove me from this old
laboratory I shall begin the quest to conquer the Empire and then the World.
I begin to chant the falling from my mouth in their familar fashion but it
does not feel right something isn't the way it should be. Astounded at my
mistake, I vow to figure out how to regain magic again, cursing the day this
foul idea came to my head I decide to wander the world in hopes something
will come to me.
Hastily added in the end as a after thought,
I intend to join the Empire perhaps on my way to the top an answer will fall in my lap.

Chapter 2

The end of Bormodigan and the begining of Zhaltum.

You find clutched in a withered corpses hand a small pile of papers, tightly
wrapped against time.
I write these as I lay dying betrayed by my wretched master, may he curse the
day he took my body. I am Zhaltum the Minotaur I spent my life in the service
of the vile necromancer Bormordigan. He long sought to cheat death but was
unable to find a suitable source for the reagents of the elixer, instead he
focused his magical efforts on the powers of the mind and transferance of
these things between entities. I was quite curious of what my master sought
in having me catch strange and magical creatures sending me on tasks almost
impossible. Now I have my knowledge as I lay dying in the old mans body some
of his memories burn into mine but I know who I am, Zhaltum. After having me
trained in the finest arts and forged into a seasoned warrior his plans where
complete. He orders me to stand within a black circle of chalk and blood many
symbols within it some I remember from the other memories others mean nothing
but that does not change anything now. Standing a in circle across the room
similar to my own but drawn of white powder he told me not to worry he simply
cast a spell that would let him see through my eyes. Obediant I stood in the
circle as he chanted words that hurt my head to hear, long and twisting
words. Agony grasped me and all I saw was blackness. When I awoke I felt
weaker somehow drained and frail. As I opened my eyes I saw myself cursing
with thick and broken speach, apparently Bormodigan didn't realise his spells
would not work with my bovine mouth, hah my vengance atleast. I hope someone
may find this and prove the foul body snatchers undoing.
