Erenthell is especially concerned with the rising power of the Empire.
A recent encounter with Azrunda and her vile acts against the children
of Balator and later, the massacre of the Keep of the Righteous,
leads him to focus his current attention on the Imperial Lands and
the machinations that move. His greatest desire is to see Darsylon
grow in greater strength, and to lend patrols and support to aid the
Keep of the Righteous. For this purpose he has found Amathlyr, an
ancient elven blade of war, and desires to present it to the Darsylon
court, for their keeping and that it might inspire them. He has sent
word to them, and awaits a summons.

Erenthell continues to focus his efforts in a few main directions. His
pursuit of mastery of his weapons and skills, and his continued meditation
on the aspects of the bladesong, that he may be found worthy in the
eyes of the bladesinger masters. He believes that it is a blend of harmony
of the body and mind, but with the added dimension of spirit, the three
intermingled to form the harmony of 'song'. He is by nature quiet and
speaks little, preferring to communicate his love and dedication to the
fortress through his actions. He suffers two wounds that were given to him
by a balrog of Moria, and they cause him pain occasionally.

Erenthell is the second son of House Eiolenthels, one of the minor houses
of Darsylon. His life is centered around a few things. Firstly, a
zealous devotion to Shokai, and the purposes of the Fortress of Light,
guide his general principles about how he wishes to influence the world, and
defines his enemies and friends. On a personal basis, he strives for
perfection in his fighting skills, not only in the practice, but also
in the execution. He is by nature like most elves, quiet and not given to
great shows of emotion as most of the high elves. His greatest hope is
to be counted worthy of learning the bladesong.

After years of training and campaigning, the day dawned where
Erenthell finally succeeded in perfecting all his sword skills.
Meditating with twin blades, cross legged in the Vale of Arendyl,
he achieved totally mastery and became one with his swords. A
kingfisher flew in the skies, an unusual bird for the Vale. He
looked up, and in the harmony of flight, saw a vision of his
Lord Shokai. With renewed vigor, he pens a note to the Darsylon
warrior's guild, asking to be considered as a journeyman pupil
of a bladesong grandmaster.
