14642, [BATTLE] Taqab the Harai Goshi
Posted by Death_Angel on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Taqab the Harai Goshi
DescriptionSavage eyes of the most brilliant gold stare wildly about the area. A wicked, contemptuous snarl distorts his face, wicked teeth protruding from his thin lips. Sharp features offset a darkened nose. Ginger fur covers his lithe, taut body, yet a peculiar stripe of crimson red juts from his back to the neck. Strapped about his body rest various blades, some polished and gleaming even in the faint light while others appear caked in the unmistakeable dull crimson of dried blood. He hefts a short spear, placing the sharpened point between you and him. In that brief moment he flexes his vicious claws around the spear's shaft. Mismatched and unkempt clothing compliments his stalking form in a most unfashionable way.

Fri Mar 30 07:37:56 2007 by 'Kastellyn' at level 24 (25 hrs): Has the recommendation of Bralkar.
Sun May 27 16:38:38 2007 by 'An Immortal' at level 34 (80 hrs): An Immortal added 500 exp for: Role intro explaining how he got into Battle despite not knowing all the ancient trivia the Battle mortals often make into a big deal.
Tue May 29 13:29:46 2007 by 'Khasotholas' at level 35 (82 hrs): So, grouped with two imperials. That's kinda strange.
Tue May 29 14:10:26 2007 by 'Khasotholas' at level 35 (83 hrs): He disconnected or lagged out, wasn't grouped with them for long. Dunno what he'd planned to do with them.
Sun Jun 3 13:23:17 2007 by 'Twist' at level 37 (94 hrs): Role Contest Entrant. Good role, we want to kill magi because we can't have magic ourselves. Very simple, but not every role has to be an epic tale.

14652, Taqab's Role Chapter 1
Posted by Death_Angel on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
RoleChapter 1 The Missing Spirit. Added Tue Jun 5 11:06:41 2007 at level 37:An essence of Taqabs soul wanders aimlessly in the spirit-realm. It was to the death-knight Asgraam that Taqab fell while the magics of the Abyss wrenched a portion of his spirit into the bludgeoning flail. Unfortunately, vengeance would not reveal itself as Asgraam committed himself to the grave soon after.
The burden of emptiness burns ever brighter as it wrestles with Taqab. He has heeded Ysaoloryes bidding in searching for the gravestone of Asgraam. But still the ever dead voice of the human death-knight howls in his mind, evading the envious clutch of Taqabs hand.

14653, Taqab's Role Chapter 2
Posted by Death_Angel on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
RoleChapter 2 Joining the Village. Added Fri May 18 11:53:40 2007 at level 31:Taqab has found a great resource to use in joining the Village of Battleragers. It took weeks to finally connive his way into gaining a hut from the bard Yean. He was probably drunk. Few others would entertain Taqab, discarding him for his atypical intent, ignorance of Battle history, and inability to read.
But he has proven himself countless times over in his cunning hunt of magi. Few even within the Village rival his skill. Even fewer are those that Taqab finds worthy to acknowledge. He tires of the apparent weakness and stupidity many possess and thus disregards them. He is a brother to no one, unwilling to sacrifice his life so another may live. It is the hunt that compels him. That, and to assuage the emptiness of his longing.
Taqab often finds himself yearning for magic to flourish just so he may dispatch even more magi by his hand.

14654, Taqab's Role Chapter 3
Posted by Death_Angel on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
RoleChapter 3 Taqab and Magic. Added Fri Mar 23 15:29:57 2007 at level 24:Taqab Naq-tadeh hails from the desert Araile. He does not know why, but he and his family live as outcasts, shamed from ever returning to Blackclaw or even the bitter wastes. He spent his first sixteen years in poverty, begging and stealing from the passing merchant trains, all the while enduring the tormenting heat and sands of the desert. He hates the sun, heat, sands, and anything else associated with such a wretched place. More than that, he hates everything he does not have.
At times, Taqab found himself lucky enough to sneak past Hamsahs guards to wander the desert city.It was here his fascination took him. He wanted it all, the precious jewels, colored clothes, tempting foods, and brilliantly polished armors. But more than that, magic. Magic impressed the lords, awed the crowds, invited wise counsel, and ruled. Magic equaled power.
Taqab knew he would never wield such an authority. He himself was but a construct of earlier magics. But as he felt driven to grasp these unreachables, it came to him. Make those who control magic bow to him.His own devices, cunning, and resources would subjugate the magicians. Taqab cannot have this magic, so no one shall possess it.
