Description

A short, stout gnome is here barely clearing the waists of any
human that might be around. His dark brown hair sits in tight
curls atop his minature head, giving his head a rather odd look
to it. Brown, narrow eyes seem to squint out into the distance
around him. A narrow mustache grows above his lips and continues
down almost the entire length of his neck. His short body is rather
rotund, and seems to come together in a rather portly pot belly.
Seeming to be on somewhat of a constant vigil, he hastily continues
to look about him with a look of wildness in his eyes. Stopping
for but a moment to see whether are not his belt has come
unfastened, he continues on about his ways.

Chapter 1

Path of a defender.

Hielikekl has visited many places of Thera seeking edge of the lands, where
shrine of the Lord of Legends is. Rest of the time he was fighting enemies
of the village. He has fallen many many times. He can see his enemies better
than they do through Striking the Shadow's Footfall, he belongs to the most
wise race of Thera. But whenever he see enemies he charges into combat! It
doesn't even matter how much enemies there are. He trully enjoyes only toughest
battles, when he is fighting at least few enemies. Many many times he has
acted like most ferocious of berserkers though he is defender. He believes one
born under sphere of combat is true berserker in his soul, though he is very
proud of saving lives of other villagers.

Hielikekl believes every warrior by nature has instincts of berserker, scout
and defender. In different situations he acts differently. But strive for the
Glory will always help him to make right decisions.

Chapter 2

Dreams of young gnome.

When Hielikekl was just three years old, his father, fearless gnome
came to the rites for the name of best warrior of Thera, which was
under patronage and blessing of Lord Kastellyn. Hielikekl's father
won first two rounds but one famouse giant killed him in the third.
His mother went crazy with watching on that and finished her life
with suicide.

Very young Hielikekl has been sent to warrior school of Thrym in
Balator. He spent all his time free from the trainings in learning
of Thera's history, Battle Village's history and history of wars
between them and mages. There was no any other choice for Hielikekl
what to do in his life. He was dreaming about hut in the Village and
killing damned mages. Though he never forgot life of his parents and
how it ended. For sure it was sad story but he always wished to be
best warrior of Thera as his father was. But his father died in tries
to achieve it and it was good lesson for Hielikekl. Long and hard
trainings during all his life, a lot of fights, battles and wars...
only this can make legendary warrior from little gnome.

But no one took seriously dreams of little gnome and it hurt his pride.
He disliked everyone who was bigger than he because they were depreciatingly
looking at his endless trainings. But this gnome belives that his dreams
will come true. Sooner or later his name will be whispered in all corners
of Thera even in thousands years after his death.
