Description

A grim yet surly visage lays behind the immaculately groomed beard of this
stout duergar. The beads of his small dark eyes hold facets of contempt
and irritation. In the pitch black skin above his brow thin strands of
some silvery metal have been embedded in grotesque runic symbols entertwined
within and through one another in an unbroken thread. His coarse hair is
pulled back into a myriad of tightly woven braids. Though comparitively
diminuitive, his small form is thick with muscle and sinew. Robed in coarse
black wool accented with dyes of crimson and deep purple, his garb is cut
to accomodate free movement, and a deeply cowled black cloak hangs from his
shoulders strangely still. At his waist is a thick belt hung with pouches,
scabbards, talismans, small artifacts, and a multitude of bones. In one
hand he grasps his weapon tightly, in the other he holds darkness.

Mhruan is a weakling, at least he perceives himself to be one. From his
earliest memories to present he has been subjugated and abused.In his
abject state of corruption he revels in the pain and suffering forced upon
him in his day to day experience in that it proves some way in his twisted
mind that he is able to feel, and in feeling he knows the power of simply
existing. And it is that small bit of perverse hope he clings to. Because
he exists, he believes if he can persist in existence in Time his Fate must
change. His perverse reality revolves around the prospect of enduring until
he can become the tormentor rather than the tormented.
