"I swear to uphold the Laws for the remainder of my life and to abstain from corruption
in the enforcement of them!"

With a flourish, a young paladin then brings his sword down on his left palm, cutting a
deep gash, completing the oath.

"...ow..." he thinks to himself "That was pretty stupid and overly dramatic. Yeesh, this
hurts like hell and its going to leave a scar."

"A scar to forever remind you of your duties." a voice inside of him says.
