Graduation of the Cauldron

At some point, a witch must choose to be subservent
to the lead witch of the coven and join, or go out
on her own. This witch of Arkham thought Holligut
weak willed enough to submit to her and join her coven
but Holligut saw the power before her. She felt
that what this witches' coven offered was simple, weak
and mundane. She sought greatness within the cauldron
and this witch's cauldron was half empty at best.
So the day of reckoning came, and Holligut simply
dismissed the woman, forsaking all of her teachings
and striking out on her own. In her path she learned
of beasts, of snakes and insects, and of the biological
required for the brew.

She sought to stir up her own destiny, one without
the pressings of others. Her Will too strong to be
stuck in a coven as the lesser witch. She took up the
teachings of beasts and the swamps she called home.
Her kindred beast the black dragon near Barovia she
always watched from afar and emulated. Perhaps one day
she would be strong enough to tame it and use it in
her workings? One can only dream.
