The Maran Duty

I will keep this relatively brief for I do not have much time in this world.
Life is short. After the Marans saved me from certain death, I decided to
travel with them for a year or two. I was allowed to leave whenever I
wanted, but I decided to stay with them for I was in their debt. While I was
with them, they taught me almost everything they knew. They taught me of the
Maran philosophy and of the great god, Shokai. I was quite surprised to know
of the Maran way of life, for I have been living it out my entire life.Well
it is suffice to say that we traveled the world, corrected wrongs and helped
any of the light and of the grey that we could.This was my calling. I have
decided to emulate my life after the great arial, Shokai. After the time
with the Marans, I decided to go out on my own to protect those worth
protecting and destroying the shadow. Of course, redemption will be offered,
but any who refuse will be killed, for they are a threat to the lives of many
innocent. I now live my life out as a maran, and I will always be in search
of the Skyborn's shrine. That is all I need to say for now.
