Dark Hearted Matters

Ginharq downed another mug of cheap dwarven ale. She could not think straight,
and the issue of her parents' salvation kept surfacing and bothering her. Now, the
lands knew from which family she hailed from. What if someone recognised her
and her deeds in the past? How should she react? Afterall, she had repented and
is now a whole-hearted soldier of the Sun.

Besides, her parents were still shadow hearts. The sort of mortals whom she hunted
and killed to protect the innocent from. She has not a drop of desire within her
to slay them. They, afterall, were her flesh and blood. How could she be so merciless
and cold? If they would not come to the Light if spoken to kindly and showered with
mercy, she would have to fall them. They were dark friends! They were tainted! They
hunted and slayed the innocent for material worth! But she could not. She just could
not bear to end their lives.

Feeling down and confused, she trudged back to the Fortress with a heavy heart.
Perhaps her brethren would have an idea. Perhaps her brethren could help her out.
Afterall, the entire Fortress was one family with one cause. They will definitely help
her sort this issue out. That made her heart lighter. Just a little bit.
