Kindness, an open mind, and an open heart

Excited by her father's exploits as a hunter, she asked him to tell her
stories of his youth. He told her of his curse, and his need to slay evil to
sate his thirst for blood. He also told her how his curse was broken with the
help of her mother, Andira.

Alauviel also spent time with her mother in the Fortress of the Light and
learned of her mother's role as Elder Prophet. Her mother challenged her to
learn both the way of the Maran and that of the Acolyte, and to choose a path
that was best for her. Her mother instructed her to act with kindness, an
open mind, and an open heart no matter what path she decides to choose.

Delighted by the war stories of her father and inspired by the strength of
her mother, Alauviel decides to accept her mothers challenge.
