New Pursuits

My pursuits have taken an interesting turn of late. The Marshall of the
Fortress has engaged my services to act as an informant for the Fortress. It
remains to be seen if this will be a profitable venture as payment is
partially dependant on what Fortress members are able to do with the
information I provide to them. I have already been disappointed by their
inability to gather information regarding the Bowl of Winds. The damnable
Bowlhas become the bane of my existence. Sometimes I feel that if I can't
unearth its secrets it will surely drive me insane.

As of late I have felt more keenly the blade of time slipping ever more
surely into my body. The years have taken their tole and I am no longer
young, even with the advantages of my mixed heritage. More and more I find
myself thinking back on the adventures of my youth and feeling a certain
appreciation for the luck I have always had. I am convinced I have enjoyed
the favor of the patron saint of Greed.In my youth I left ocassional
offerings in the shrine of the old God of Greed. I realize now that I was
misguided. Clearly my favor has come from an active Lord. I have decided I
will learn more of this Immortal Captain and perhaps seek a place to leave
appropriate offerings.
