Doubts and Marriage

A cheer of mixed voices echo behind him from the rocky banks of Voralia's
tears... he was married. Calbaseeti stood next to him with a glowing smile as
she fixed her diamond wedding ring, and he fixed his wedding band as well
trying to emanate the same joy as hers to no avail.

What had he gotten himself into? He couldn't even conquer his own feelings,
let alone take on the burden of someone elses. He should have just listen to
Daevryn.. but he couldn't help trying to at least get over his sorrow.. just
a little bit. Calbaseeti was the first soul he has ever met that made him
forget the pain of his brother, even if it was just a slight amount. How
could he ignore a woman with the same mindset as him? He wants to be great,
he wants to finally feel some sort of praise to balance his constant feelings
of being the underdog. Maybe he can have his relationship, and the
greatness... and she can strengthening him in that endeavor the whole way.

Extending his views of balance beyond the light and darkness.. beyond chaos
and order.. perhaps their relationship is truly what he needs. She truly is
the iconoclast of love, and what better than to have his mirror image at his
side? Only time will tell, and almost feeling at one now with what made him,
he knows his magic can only get stronger if he perseveres.
