Dolce Dim - His mother and his faith

Dolce's chances in life were brutal from the start, even without considering
his mental disabilities. His mother was an ugly one-armed fire giant working
in an underground brothel near the mines of Akan, known for it's motley
collection of odd-looking and unique "hostesses". His father was equally as
likely to be a dwarven miner as it was to being an elven aristocrat, though
by the looks of him, it may have been an Orc.

His "home" consisted of a splintered wooden pallet, covered in dirty, matted
hay that was hidden behind a curtain in his mother's "office". There was no
fresh air, very little light, and nearly no communication with other outside
of the grunts and groans of his mother and her clientelle.


In between her clients, Dolce's mother would attempt to impart what little
wisdom she possessed on her only child - Be strong. Be brave. Pray hard.
- difficult advice for a child with special needs.

Dolce, with his stunted mental capacity, holds fiercely to his mother's words
even though she has not prepared him to do so.
