Broken Restraint

The whimpering cries of children heralded a vicious scream of
agony bellowed from the mouth of a grown man. Crashing wood and
then a sudden crack, followed by the fall of something large
and heavy eminated from the open door of the orphans classroom.
More whimpering cries began to be heard in turn with the sound
of thundering steps, just then Gahdak came trudging from the open
doorway. He was covered in splotches of crimson from huge head
all the way to huge toe, even the table leg he clutched in his
large fist was covered in the red goop. It took only moments
for his large gate and resolute steps to deliver him from his
most hated of places.

As the young thick skinned red beast stooped to trudge forth
from the orphanage, dripping cudgel in hand, the final word
of power filled the air. Energies of magic grasped Gahdak in a
clutch that froze his every thought, all that he could do was
watch and feel, feel the hate and rage that boiled in his dark
soul. Small quick measured steps brought Malthies the Defender
into his vision. How dare the old man shake his head in dismay.
How dare he move to stop me finding myself! How DARE HE!
