Family "tragedy"?

Zefta never saw it as a possibility to be the one, so she watched her
brothers squabble and took interest in the ways they tried to kill each
other. The rush she felt when she knew that one of her brothers was about to
walk into a trap, or eat something that was poisonous. Even though she found
comfort in seeing death close by, she feared it greatly, or to tell the
truth... She feared the undead. Her father being frustrated about not having a
suitable heir used the undeads in the basement to try and capture his
childrens interest, all he did was frighten them as the undeads liked
grabbing a hold of things and biting what they got a hold off. Zefta had far
too often been forced to go down into the cellars to fetch something for her
mother just to be attacked by these ghouls and zombies.

While her brothers fought over the heritage Zefta used her fathers gold to
have fun, her interest in death made her seek the brink of death, giving her
huge adrenaline kicks. This was what she lived for when one day she came home
for more gold after being away for a month, just to find out that both her
brothers were dead. They had finally managed to sneak in some subtle poison
into each others food, bribing the slaves that tested it. Both had died a
gruesome death at the family dinner, their father had already embalmed their
corpses and made zombies out of them.
