Chapter 3

Torture versus death

Zefta has this far had a glorious life since she left her fathers home. Not
for a moment has she regretted that she joined the empire. Her learning
within the guild of warriors has been rather slow, and the road to where she
is has been sided but numerous enemies. Most of the time she has been
fighting against the odds and she has found that it suits her well, the worse
the odds the greater the rush when escaping death. The fear for undead and
corpses might have become less of a problem, she almost doesnt studder when
speaking to her empress but still she refuses to touch corpses. Though still
she will refrain from scheming against it.

As time has gone by she has found herself never to utter the prayers to lord
Beroxxus as she once did in her fathers home. During her travels she has
learned more and more about the lord, and while she would want the might and
power it could grant her shes not that eager to torture her victims. Perhaps
in time shell change, but for now she rather seek the adrenaline of what the
fortress or a berserker would call a "fair fight".
