Doryan is disgusted by his childhood. It has left him a bitter and cynical
person.At times he will be silent and moody, but also has the ability to
express a caustic wit. Due to his feelings of inferiority from the orphanage
days, Doryan takes a liking to high-sounding titles, especially to demean and
belittle others.

"It is what it is." Doryan has a very fatalistic view of the world. Showing
excessive emotion about petty accomplishments or greivances is silly.
Glorifying the hunt, drinking the blood of the fallen and all of that
nonsense is pointless distraction. Dead is dead. Move along.

He is well-spoken and understands complex concepts, including sociology,
rhetoric and logic. This is a holdover from his success in the classroom.
There is a constant struggle within him between these elements of civilized
behavior and the survivalist/predator instinct from the orphanage playground
and his life in the wilderness.
