Quite a day...

This has been quite a day for Tanith. He woke once, set upon a Hunt, and
came away with another darkheart pierced. He woke twice, and found those
the gods would let him harm without taint. Using that free time he visited
the Lady Baerinka, and heard the tale of the end of her mortal days. It
affected him strongly, and in some ways made him feel a touch inadequate..
he has not felt that kind of love, or made that kind of sacrifice.

A sorrowful tale, and yet an act of great courage and purity. He continues
to turn it over in his mind, and to use it for inspiration and moral
compass.

Not long after that discussion, Llondolis the Captain of the Brigade called
him to the Fortress, and made him a squire. Wow. Eventful day. Tanith's
head is still spinning a bit as he listens to Llondolis describe the lore
in the holy books (which, of course, he can't freaking read).

Affects on his behavior:
1. A bit less impulsive, at least for a time. Baerinka's tale mellowed him a touch.
2. A fierce desire to hunt more, and faster, to proove himself worthy of
Baerinka's recommendation and to achieve the designation of Maran rapidly.
3. A bit miffed about the whole maran abvoe you stuff Llondolis was sprouting
... going to try his best to stay out of sight, and out from under orders.
