...Leaving resources to those who wish to obtain, waylaying those who stray the path into their domain, and allowing for the resourceful to reap the fruit of their own work. A perfect symbiosis for my endeavors, I think. Tribunals? The most humorous of the clans. So willing to retain the golden status quo of "justice" that they will oft trade a meaningless victory for the simple currency of personal advancement, advice, or even items they are sworn to keep out of the hands of chaos itself. That they will sell their collective souls for this sort of currency is beyond my comprehension. Perhaps some of them are not too unlike myself. But, like the Imperials, name a price and what is there's can be had. Ironically, these can be allies which will provide almost as much as their sworn enemies of the refuge. And so it goes, the pockets of civilization are deep, and we all can drink out of the same cistern, so long as we step across and keep intact their protective rip-rap. Scion. Well, it is what it is. However, their purpose in magicks is my purpose. Assisting them is to make my time here more endurable. And it is wise to not cross these folks when their powers wax. Just as their beliefs are comedic in its origin, I'll humor their means in expectation of its ends. Yet, there are things which still elude me. But. My knowledge and power continues to grow strong like the web of a spider in a room full of spawning flies. Yes, I like this analogy... ... come to me. Seek what I seek, insects. I will return to you only what you can deliver. And I shall ingest and become stronger... The end is not so near, surface. ======================================================= ... a pity I had to kill that dear drow. =======================
