Grinok is taught about Cyradia

Grinok has always followed what he calls the 'Way of the Sword'. He has never taken
the time to define exactly what that is, but it revolves around always testing himself
by fighting whoever he thinks will be a challenge, and destroying those who he
does not think will be. He seeks to be as strong as he possibly can be through
combat. He does not kill out of hatred for those he kills, and he does not understand any
who take such deaths personally, thinking only of his desire to hone himself to strength.

Grinok was on this path to strength when he attacked one named Avarulash.
The battle was a great one, but for the first time in his life, Grinok was bested by
a single man, though he lived to escape. Avarulash's strength gave him much respect
in Grinok's eyes, and as he often does, he congratulated his foe on his strength.
This led to a discussion about Avarulash's demoness, who Grinok had never heard of before.
Avarulash was likewise impressed by Grinok's strength and deemed him worth of knowledge of
the demon goddess. Grinok was intrigued, as the Demon Goddess's teachings seemed to
follow Grinok's beliefs about how he should live his life. Grinok decided that at the very least
it would be suitable for him to pay homage to the Demon Goddess, and once he knew more
of her, to seek her favor if her teachings did indeed suit his way of life.
