Chapter 2

As time elapses...

Years later....

Drevin sits in the same room, screaming out
as blows rain from the heavens to scathe his body.
There is an odd tinge to these screams though, almost
as if he were enjoying the beating at the hands of his
master. His skin has been burned in many places
and shows many signs of burns that will never
truly heal. Finally the beating stops, the master
growing frustrated with his broken-willed pet. Unable
to truly see fear in the
boys eyes any longer, now he only sees
insanity. It would seem after almost a decade of
constant abuse his spirit has been broken and then
reforged in some twisted design. The man
now looks forward to the beatings. His broken mind
never allowed to progress like a normal person he
becomes giddy like a child at the sight of his master
and throws a tantrum when he leaves. "Most curious,"
thinks the Master when suddenly a bolt of inspiration
hits and he laughs maniacally at his new formed scheme.
Drevin begins to laugh with his master, but at what
lies ahead he hasn't the faintest clue.
