(For next crash/reboot.)
1) You need the Pick Lock skill to get any information.
2) If you also have the Advanced Pick Lock skill, you get finer discernment- you can tell the difference between two sets of picks where a less specialized thief would call them equal, and you can also get an idea of how much better one is vs. the other.

Starting next crash/reboot, Compare can compare the rough capacities of two containers (either for liquids or for items).
