The second paragraph of their helpfile, with new text highlighted:

Despite their prejudicial attitudes, all High Elves revere the Light, and the Gods of the Light, and to do otherwise would be one of the most horrific sins a High Elf could commit. As such, all High Elves must begin as Good-Aligned. The purity of their souls is such that they are more difficult to corrupt with all manner of curses.

Woot! Who says you guys don't listen to the masses. A small perk but it's a real good start. Thanks guys, and keep up the good work.

Yup. It's hopefully Part 1 of 2, but once the infrastructure was in place, I figured we'd toss it in.

Have you considered throwing in a natural resistance to positive attacks, such as wrath? Kinda makes sense that elves would resist it, especially in light of this new tweak. Also, dark-elves would then have an easy justification for getting some kind of natural resistance to negative stuff.

Just a thought.

I'm not certain either race requires something that strong.

On a tangent, I don't think a particularly devious race (like dark-elves) would be deemed resistant to negative forces. The dark gods have no qualms about punishing their followers, and I think such a resistance would suggest a Team Evil mentality.

461, Woops! I didn't say what I meant to, exactly.

I was actually thinking the resist positive thing would be a kind of inherent ability for elves (usable via the inherent command, as opposed to just being another slapped-on resistance). I don't know why I didn't spell it out that way.

And yeah, I see your point about the resist negative for drow. Good call.
