Damage traps should be better than they were.
Grenade-missiles should also be somewhat better.
Bribe mercenary has been improved, though I may have already posted
that previously.. I don't remember.

More to come, in time.

All thieves now have circle stab, which has been modified. Thieves who were previously required to learn circle stab, will now have to learn precision strike. See HELP PRECISION STRIKE.

The points any thief had spent on circle have been refunded.

Does precision strike cost more than circle?

I had already learned circle and now (getting points back) I cannot practice precision strike (or any other skills in the other paths).

Nope.

This has happened to a handful of thieves. The points were adjusted a little while back, and the skills you have already total more than the maximum amount of points you were alotted. Alas you are left without precision strike (but still more skills than a new thief who rolled up today).

My character was rolled after the 'thief point restructuring', (less than a month ago) and I haven't heroed already. Seems odd that I cannot practice 'precision strike' now.

I'd have to see the character in question to know for sure, but thief points don't all come when rolled up anymore, I'd guess this is probably why.
