First, I'm happy to report that our forums seem to be working as intended again. Some software upgrades broke the forums and also broke the mechanism for PBFs; the first was fixed fairly easily but the second went unnoticed for a bit and required another intervention. But all appears to be well... for now.

Second, we'll have to delay the end of the age slightly because of all the commotion on this side of the fence. First, there is an error in the puzzle (awww!): the adjective in 5 down is the wrong form of the word. A player spotted the error and reported it, so they'll get a bonus for that. How will we wrap things up at this point? If you want to share in the Sultan's bounty (or not), send whatever answers you have to scarabaeus@carrionfields.com. If we have enough answers to solve the puzzle, we'll pool your resources and post them. Whoever sends the correct answers first will reserve some form of prize.
