2030, New command: AFK

Syntax: afk

This command will show the last 25 communications you've heard (say, tell, yell, whisper, gtell, cb, etc.)

And it's just great.

I second the guy below; maybe add an argument that lets you select the number of communications you want, from 1-50?

And I've already used it a lot already. Any chance on making it longer than the last 25? Perhaps the last 50?

Any reason not to use it liberally? I feel like I miss stuff all the time even when I'm not afk.

Use it as liberally as you want to. It spawned from my need to catch up on conversations while I'm in another window coding, decided it'd be useful for mortals as well, hence there you have it, an afk command.

You might consider a different syntax for this. It's not very friendly to users from other MUDs who are used to toggling an AFK flag and walking away. Sure, they'll learn pretty quickly after the first time they die because of it, but for the sake of player retention it might be better to avoid it. Not a real big issue, but something to consider.

Don't play other muds, didn't even know about this...and I'll bring you back to the entrypoint of Carrion Fields...

Just suggestions as it doesn't matter to me either way, but I do know this command exists on other muds.

tellhist is a good name for it used on a few other MUDs.
