Yes, CF are in need of necros that can die to storm giants whille making Zombies. But to answer your question.

Yes, I would rather that you deleted Liching or at least moved it to 50. Most necromancers do not get a lich quest before they delete of boredome, its a shame. The should be able to make it to hero range and then perhaps try out for Lichhood. Granted, with the new death code you do not face the problem - Great Lich quest and only 350.000 xp to level.
