Something along those lines would be theoretically possible, I'd think... the problem is that the MUD as it stood at the time would override/correct it very quickly. You'd probably have to do that again every round or so, which isn't practical.

(I haven't dug into how our immunity/etc. is done in the last few years, so it's possible some of the details have changed on me... but I generally doubt it.)
