Honestly, that quest hasn't changed all that much. There's a couple different ways to do it; depending on how you were going about it in the olden days, the same exact process *might* still work.

I recently tweaked some of the echoes and what not to make this somewhat more obvious. I already saw a fair number of people who I don't know doing it as it was, so it can only be so obscure, but, there you go.
