You jump right into who you thought did it, without ever actually answering the question he asked you.

I review logs of success and say the same exact things in response to the question asked, sometimes it gets a response, sometimes it is ignored. Maybe I'm just to thick to pick up what else might be going on.

The answer to "So, have you discovered who is behind this?" is not Zulghinlour, it is not Scarabaeus, it is not Drokalanatym, it is not Valguarnera. The answer is "Yes"

He tends to not respond to the answer 'Yes' at all, sometimes. Whether said, whispered, sayto'd or replied.

It doesn't always work, or maybe if the answer is "Yes." it fails. I'll grep through some logs and email you what I'm talking about.

But there have been times I've had to go in and out of the room saying yes over and over to get him to ask "Then who?"

I also tried all of the above walking in and out so get him to ask fresh each time and got nothing.
I'm level 12, and a fire a-p.
It seems like he just can't hear me.

I believe all you need to do is give him the gear, not say yes at this point.
