Seems a little odd that doing that will make you visible.

You attempt to hide.
<100%hp 100%m 100%mv 4690tnl (13.15%)> sleep
You go to sleep.
<100%hp 100%m 100%mv 4690tnl (13.15%)> z
You step out of the shadows.
In your dreams, or what?

You wake and stand up.

You did 'z' which maps to the zap command, which will always unhide anyone trying it. By design.
