Something strange keeps happening during combat. I keep getting these echoes:

You feel a stiffness in your joints.


Your joints seize up with an unearthly chill!


During combat. The first one doesn't appear to have any effect, but looks like it leads up to the latter. When I get the second echo, which is happening during the middle of a round of combat, it holds me like hold person used to. I have no clue what is making this occur, and thought maybe someone else had ran into the same thing before.
